Welches Juices in general

Advantages: Deliciously fruity
Disadvantages: A little bit more expensive than the average fruit Juice

...Ever since my first visit to the USA I was introduced to Welches products and fell in love with them instantly.. Especially thier Grape juice variety. My mouth is drooling just at the thought of these wonderful juices! It was not until a couple of years after I had returned from the USA that I had started to find Welches had started suplying over here too with thier deliciously moreish juices. I soon turned straight to thier products and started to buy them in more abundance than the other juices that I was buying previously Since looking at the Welches cartons tonight in mroe detail, I have found that the company has a long history in producing juices, and goes back to 1869. My favourite of these has to be the red grape and blackcurrant,, this is so fruitily morish,, As you open the carton you begin to smell the lovely...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. Oh me-oh-my-o, look at Miss Ohio

...I was introduced to the music of Gillian Welch by a friend recently returned from a road-trip across the Southern States of the US. Bursting with enthusiasm, "this is RIGHT up your street" he said, and handed me a copy of 'Soul Journey' - Welch's fourth, most recent album (released 2003). On that intriguing recommendation I came home and put the CD on immediately. After only the first few bars of the opening track "Look at Miss Ohio" I'm whisked away to a dusty, dirt-tracked daydream, where the Kansas sun beats down on the open plane, spreading its pinky-orange glow all around... I'm transported. I'd never heard of Gillian Welch before, so was surprised to learn that she is a hugely successful artist - both commercially and critically - in the States, and, increasingly, here in the UK. ...What with the hot weather and all, I’m sure that like me you will have been on the look out for any interesting looking new soft drinks lately. I like carbonated fruit drinks, but not with my breakfast, so I also like to have a few cartons of fruit juice drinks tucked away in the fridge. My attention was drawn to a new range of drinks in Tesco this week, primarily because they are all on special offer. Welch’s currently produce a range of five different grape juice drinks. I like grape juice because it is rather different to the conventional citrus mixed drinks that you can buy, and because grapes have a lovely full flavour. These drinks are also strange because they refer to the ingredients as being “purple grapes”. This is not an expression I’ve heard before, and is actually an American expression...

...My recent quest for FREE DVD hire I visited and many DVD web sites that offered a free trial. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so. My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk. Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. With Blockbuster?s things are different slightly ? which add a great deal of benefit to us the customer. So THIS is what purple tastes like ...

Advantages: Tasty, tasty, so so tasty.
Disadvantages: Gets drunk by other people. Mine, don't you understand, mine!

...... very very strong. So strong, that for preference I drink it with two ice cubes. Mmmmmm. It's very tasty. Not too sweet. I have no idea whether it tastes like purple grapes or not as I haven't had any for years. But it tastes much like grape Koolaid (which I sorely miss and forgot to get my cousin to bring over because I'm a fool) and that's what I wanted. No other type of grape juice has quite replicated the sheer grapey-ness of Welch's. Curse your wussiness, other grape juices, and why don't we have Koolaid here? This wondrous juice is a bit expensive in the chilled form, nearly £2 if it wasn't for Waitrose giving money off because it's a new product for them. I think the unchilled version is only £1 or so. Oh, there are other crappy adulterated versions. Purple Grape and Blackcurrant is watery and I haven't tried any of the others yet...

...Before I bought this DVD player Id never really owned a DVD player before. I had however had and still do have a ps2 on which I used to play my DVDs. I never really went and still don’t go on this so much so I was going to sell it and buy a DVD player. In the end I decided to just keep the ps2 and to get a cheaper DVD player than I was looking for in the first place. The main reason why I wanted a new DVD instead of the one in the ps2 was so I could play divx format DVDs on it. The DVD player in a ps2 doesn’t recognise this format and scene as I have several divx movies already on disk and on my laptop to put onto disk then I wanted a DVD player that would recognise and play this format. Another plus to this format is that it saves space on disks as it compresses movies into smaller file sizes without compromising...
