A great, girly razor!

Advantages: Gives a close shave, pink, hard to cut yourself
Disadvantages: Not too keen on the vibrating function

...I bought this razor when they first came out. I have had other Venus razors and have thought they were the best razors I had ever used, so when I went on holiday and forgot my razor it was a natural choice for me to get another one. The Venus Vibrance razor is different to the normal Venus razors as you can put a battery in it so that will vibrate as you as shaving. This is meant to exfoliate your legs as you shave and give you a closer shave. The razor comes in a pink colour (which I really like!) and has a white rubbery grip around it so that it is easier to hold so you won't drop it (it can get quite hard with a smooth plastic razor in the shower - I am quite clumsy!) Why use a razor without a blade?

Advantages: Leaves legs really smooth........................

Sex and a razor blade

Review of Gillette Mach 3 Razor

Intuition Razor

Advantages: Smooth silky legs, no need for foam or gel.
Disadvantages: The lathering bar around the blade breaks off sometimes.

...I first bought this razor because of the claim that it lathered, shaved and moisturised all in one go. I used to hate messing around buying separate shaving foam and all the rest of it so I thought that this product would be ideal for me. You buy the actual handle of the razor itself which comes with a razor head to start you off and then you subsequently have to buy the actual razor heads (whihc ome in packs of three), as and when you need to replace the blunt ones. The razor handle is quite nice to hold, it is quite wide and has soft pads for extra grip. This is useful as I find one of the main reasons I cut myself with disposables is because they slip. The blades or heads look like normal triple blade razor heads, except they are surrounded by a solid, whitish substance. There is quite a lot of this around the actual razor blades...

Review of Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor for Women

Good at first but typical of a wet shave razor

Advantages: Good first time use, 5 blades
Disadvantages: Wears out easily, expensive and overpriced

...After my old Wilkinson Quatro Titanium razor lost much of the of the blades sharpness, I decided it would be time to get a new razor, only this time, I would try something new. The design of the Gillette Fusion caught my eye the most, and I thought that having 5 blades may be better than the 4 on the Wilkinson and offer a more comfortable shave. Upon trying it for the first time, I did find that it was more efficient in cutting the hairs, whilst at the same time more comfortable. The only real difference between the Wilkinson and the Gillette was the extra blade and the design, as the Wilkinson razor was very simplistic in terms of design and colour, whereas the Fusion razor featured more colours and a funkier shape, which was also easier to hold. ...TITANIUM DISPOSABLE This is a disposable version of the Quattro Series, and boy are there a lot of non disposable ones; Quattro, Quattro Titanium, Quattro Titanium Energy and Quattro Titanium Precision (which appears to be more of a trimmer and edger) I had some fun navigating the website in my investigations. No wonder metrosexual man is so confused these days; when I started shaving in the mid 80s it was a choice between 1 disposable single blade cheese grater and another. Aloe Vera hadn't even been invented, never mind on the razor to condition your face. Wilkinson Sword claims that this is the first 4 blade disposable razor. The blades are coated with titanium for extra strength, hence the name. I bought 4 blades, and they come in a blue box with a transparent plastic front. Bikini Razor - You'll never need another

Advantages: All in one solution to hair removal
Disadvantages: A little bottom heavy

...After having a short dalliance with waxing, and then spending my nights trying to release in growing hairs, I decided to return to shaving. Then by chance I completed a survey for the Quattro for Women Bikini, and immediately thought to myself 'I've got to get me one of those'. Then I saw them in Tesco on a promotional introductory offer at half price (the full price being £8.99), so I snapped one up immediately. And after giving it a thorough testing, these are my thoughts. The razor itself is pretty much a standard razor these days, with four blades and a lubricating strip which has an Aloe and Duo-Vitamine complex, which helps to keep your skin soft and silky, despite having four blades dragged across it. It takes Quattro refill blades, which are a little expensive at close to £5 for 3, but this is pretty much standard for blades now...

Free Lynx Razors

Advantages: Free
Disadvantages: None

...I have recently received a free razor from Lynx. All you have to do is apply online at www.lynxrazors.com and lo and behold a free razor should arrive about 2 weeks later. The razor has a pleasing design and performs well, similar to the Wilkinson Sword model in my view. The only drawback for me is that the blades are a little on the narrow side. I usually use the Gillette Mach 3 which is excellent and definitely superior to any dry shave that i have ever experienced. Still why not try the Lynx razor yourself while stocks last....

Razor better than cheesy name?

Advantages: Strudy, Good clean shave, precision blade

...Before I begin I would to highlight the fact that I predicted the future in a past review. In my review 'Good Vibrations?', I stated and I quote: "What's next, 5 blades, titanium blades or just an Orange razor called "Awesome"? As you can see I got 2 out of the 4 spot on, and you must admit that Awesome is kind of like Fusion! Ok, now I have blown my own trumpet I'll buckle down and get on with my babble, sorry review. In the interests of not repeating myself or boring anyone to sleep I will skip over my thoughts of Marketing Departments and the timeline of men's Razors as I covered these in my review of the last Gillette offering. Suffice to say that every year a new shaving product is released that makes us wonder how we ever managed to remove hair from our faces without such technology! As with all other 'new' gadgets...

The Luddites of The Razor World

Advantages: Cheap and Gives a Good Shave

...My Grandfather taught me how to use a slit-throat razor, there is a real art to it, but it will give you the smoothest shave you have ever experienced, as well as exfoliating the skin. When I have time I will still occasionally use a slit-throat razor, or will go to a local Barbour to have it done. Nothing beats the shave you get from one.... During my shaving career I have tried every technological advancement in shaving technology..... Twin Blade razors, Twin blade razors with lubrastrip, triple blade razors and so on. None of these have had a noticeable effect on the smoothness of the shave at all other than the initial placebo effect...... "I have just spent a wad of cash on this wonderful piece of shaving technology and therefore it must be better"...... The most noticeable effect shaving technology has had is upon my wallet...
