...My son received on of these for Christmas from a friend of mine. She said it would become a practical present and oh my it has been. The design The design on our one is of In the night garden every childs favorite at the moment I think, Although I do believe they come in different choices, such as Fifi, Thomas the tank, Noddy, Dora and various other characters. My first ready bed has been very well designed it has a built in headboard designed for extra comfort, safety bolsters either side designed so the little un cant roll out, has an air filled mattress and a removable cover which is machine washable at 30 degrees. To inflates the bed is simple as it comes with its own foot pump, and believe me it only takes 4-5 mins to inflate. READY, STEADY, GO BED

Advantages: Easy to inflate, machine washable, nice designs

...I remember when I was younger and used to stay at a friends and had to sleep on the floor because of lack of bedspace within the house. Well my daughter is reaching the age now where she wants her friends to stay and I was determined to have enough beds to accomodate all. We had a look round in the shops at the various range of campbeds and blow-up beds before settling on "The Ready Bed". My daughter could hardly contain her excitement when she saw the range that was available and in the end we decided on the "Groovy Chick" design to match in with her bedroom wallpaper, and she was determined that she would be the first to test it out that very night. If you had seen how many there were available to chose from now, including Babie, Thomas the Tank Engine and disney designs you would realise why it took us so long to settle on this...

...isn't too great but bahh its worth it... What surprised me most was the 7% salt content, I would have thought- especially with the name 'Ready Salted' they would make a HUGE dent into my daily allowance but apparently not! 132 calories isn't THAT bad either. Although you have to remember that you must take these percentage with a pinch of salt (forgive the pun) because they are in reference to an adult man's diet. The packaging for the crisps is great in my opinion- hasn't changed in years really but that's what makes the brand so iconic! With a simple picture of a potato slicing into crisps and a bright red background. What people seem to forget is how Walkers as a company has been very successful in planting the flavour V colour idea in our minds! Everyone knows that red= ready salted, blue = cheese and onion, green= salt and vinegar etc...

READY FOR BED

...We bought two ready beds - Barbie for my 3 year old daughter, and Bob the Builder for my 5 year old son. Both my children were very excited and couldn't wait to try the beds out. The literature promises that you can blow the bed up, using the hand pump within 4 minutes - this was true - and very easy to accomplish. The bed has an inner part that is inflatable, and fits inside a snug fleecey sleeping bag. You can blow it up full - which in my view is a little hard. My children prefer it slightly soft, which molds better to their bodies. The pillow though is very hard. For my daughter it was an instant hit - she would sleep in it every night if she could. My son however, did not take to it, and has never spent a full night in it. My daughter's unfortunately developed a puncture ( which I feel was down to all the jumping...

...ReadyBrek is one of those uniquie brands on the market, different to anything else. You've got your quaker oats, and your mornflake and your Scottish oats, and then there's this, which is porridge in a league of its own. ReadyBrek is manufacutered by Weetabix, makers of, well, 'Weetabix' (obviously), Alpen, Weeto's, and oatabix. Weetabix is a well respected manufactuer in the cereal market and reknown for it's health and nuritional products. Actually, I've read on Wiki (so this may not be totally accurate) that Readybrek was orignally produced by Lyons and Co (makers of the syrups) from arounds the 1960's until 1990, when weetabix took over. I have ever only known it as Weetabix, since I was born in 1990! ReadyBrek is marketed at children and is suitable for babies and toddlers (well, anyone in fact! I still love it 19 years on...
