...Yet another one of my Virgin Vie 'good buys'! This is the Virgin Vie ready to wear collection of eyeshadows, lip colours and blushers. ~ Price ~ RRP is £20 but in the Virgin Vie catalogue at the moment it's available for £12.50 which is a great bargain considering what you get! ~ Packaging ~ This comes in an outer, very dark blue cardboard box. Inside the box is a blue plastic box (like a mini make-up box), measuring approx 14cm x 10cm, hence what I mean by it not being great for a small evening bag. This has the Virgin Vie logo on the front and 'ready to wear collection'. The lid opens up to show the first 'drawer' full of eyeshadows along with a mirror. Once you have opened the lid, you can pull out the second 'drawer' which slides out to show all of the blushers and lip colours available. ~ What you get...

Action Packed and Ready To Go

Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips - Not such a Perfect Finish!

...Hi... Thought I'd share my (very recent) experience of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips. Just to make clear now, the strips I used were part of the pink Complete Body Kit, consisting of 20 leg strips, 12 bikini/underarm strips, and 4 Perfect Finish wipes, and claiming to be effective on hair as short as 2mm. I'm 17 years old, normal, and to be honest, quite an optimist, so this is the first almost negative review I've given anything. The 'satisfactory' was moved up from a 'poor' because I felt mean! Usually, I'd use Veet cream (works like magic, if you're wondering) , but as I was in Boots to stock up these caught my eye. They were on a discount, and I'd wanted to try waxing, so I thought I'd give it a go. They cost me around £4-5, which, believe it or not, was half price. ...'Ready To Die' is the debut album from New York rapper Notorious B.I.G.. It was released in 1994 on Bad Boy Records. Seeing as I was ten when this was released, I wasn't really into my hip hop then as I was now but discovered this after buying, and loving his second album, Life After Death in 1997/98. Although I had heard most of these songs by the time I bought the album, there was still lots for me to take in and enjoy. READY, STEADY, GO BED

...I remember when I was younger and used to stay at a friends and had to sleep on the floor because of lack of bedspace within the house. Well my daughter is reaching the age now where she wants her friends to stay and I was determined to have enough beds to accomodate all. We had a look round in the shops at the various range of campbeds and blow-up beds before settling on "The Ready Bed". My daughter could hardly contain her excitement when she saw the range that was available and in the end we decided on the "Groovy Chick" design to match in with her bedroom wallpaper, and she was determined that she would be the first to test it out that very night. If you had seen how many there were available to chose from now, including Babie, Thomas the Tank Engine and disney designs you would realise why it took us so long to settle on this...

Veet Ready To Use Hair Removal Wax Strips - Sensitive Skin

Advantages: Smooth legs, good for money, good for sensitive skin, easy, not THAT painful
Disadvantages: doesn't get rid of those tiny, stubborn hairs! not enough strips

...As most women, I hate the hassle of shaving my legs all the time to find that they're already prickly the next day and as I'm going on holiday in less than a week, I wanted something that would last longer, so, I bought some Veet Wax Strips! I've suffered from eczema all my life and it's dyed down however my skin is still sensitive so I bought the pack especially for Sensitive Skin. I sat down, gulped some wine, warmed the wax strip up like instructed and put it on my leg. When I came to pull it off I was too hesitant and slow so it was completely ineffective! So, I tried again and pulled off the waxstrip quickly! I must admit it was a little painful to begin with but after repeating it over and over again, it got easier (the ankles are a little more sensitive!) and if you actually watch television at the same time, I found it hurt...
