HAMBURG MARRIOTT HOTEL

Advantages: Lovely hotel, excellent rooms and service
Disadvantages: None really!

...~~~HAMBURG MARRIOTT HOTEL~~~ As well as having stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Hamburg several times, I have also stayed at the Renaissance sister hotel, the Marriott, located on ABC Strasse in the exclusive shopping and dining part of the city of Hamburg. The hotel is well located and transfer time from the airport (Hamburg) is under 20 minutes or so with taxi fares also being under 20Euros (£13-£15). Just outside o f the hotel you will find a glittering array of upmarket shops and small boutiques and the hotel is located in a very quiet area and all of the rooms are exceptionally quiet. Arriving at the hotel: As you enter the hotel, the lobby is sumptuous and well-kept, and there are always plenty of bellhops to help with your bags. Check-in is always smooth and painless, and there is a good selection of local interest...

A simple recipe for simple shortbread

Advantages: Cheap, tasty
Disadvantages: Takes a while, bad oven

...anyway. Oh prick it first- that?s what the fork was for. Now this was the tricky part- the oven. The recipe required the oven be at 180. We have a fan assisted oven, much better than the LRH?s piece of junk. Unfortunately it?s too good, it burns things before they?re had a chance to cook. To prevent burning I was supposed to put foil on after the first 15 minutes but after the first 10 it was burning already â?¹ When it was finally cooked- albeit a bit browner than it should be, I cut it into pieces, only there were not 35, less than 20 really, but they were quite big anyway and a bit thicker than it should be. After letting it cool in the fridge for a bit, me and Laila both had some. It tasted very nice, a bit softer than it should be I think, but still a success none the less Would I recommend doing this? Yes definitely. As it works out...

Review of Recipes for Cakes and Biscuits

Recipe

Advantages: Cheap, quick and simple
Disadvantages: not quite a roast

...This recipe is what I used to cook when I was hungry and was on a tight budget at university, it ended up with me cooking this meal for all of my friends on a regular occasion. I now have a well paid job but still love to cook this meal. It was named 'Mattys special' by my uni mates. Ingredients:- Mince- frozen or fresh, better if it is fresh can buy at £1.69 in tescos for a small pack. (Beef mince) Bag of onions- 99p tescos Bag of potatoes-£1.90 tescos Mushrooms, sweetcorn and garlic spices 1. Heat up a non stick pan with olive oil or any oil that you have (Car oil not good) 2. chop up two onions into fine pieces 3. Add the mince-about a handful per person 4. fry off the mince with the onions 5. At the same time prick two semi large jacket potatoes and put them in the microwave on full power for 5mins. 6...

Relax at the Renaissance Hamburg Hotel

Advantages: Great location and friendly welcome
Disadvantages: None

...The Renaissance Hamburg Hotel is part of the worldwide Marriott chain and offers the excellent accommodations that you would expect from Marriott but with the flair that you would normally expect from the Renaissance team. As with other properties in this brand hotels are branded by Renaissance but owned and managed locally adding real local colour to the hotel. Booking: Book via the Marriott website, and they guarantee that you will get their cheapest rates (the best rate is usually from 110 euros (approx £60.00) per night) for a twin/double room. Many rates are available and most options come with or without breakfast. There are single rooms and double rooms (i.e. 1 king bed or two doubles) that would accommodate 2 or 4 respectively. In addition, the corner Junior Suites offer additional space and more often than not...

Wunderbar Hamburg Germany

Advantages: Great lively city; great sights!!
Disadvantages: None really!

...Hamburg Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany and has a rich and varied history and in the modern age is still world famous for it's port, tourist attractions and the Beatles in the 1960s as well as one of the recent James Bond films having been set here in the 1990s! I first visited Hamburg when I was six or seven and had family living over there and I am really pleased that I did as otherwise it is certainly one of those cities that you could easily miss and that would be a shame! Hamburg is a great cosmopolitan city that will appeal to old and young alike. Perfect for couples who enjoy fine dining and shopping as well as perfect for families at the fairs and attractions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Getting there: Flights to Hamburg are relatively frequent. If you live in the North of England like me then direct...

Nancy's recipes

Advantages: Tasty
Disadvantages: none

...Well it’s been a while now since I wrote anything but I have been rather busy of late. For anyone that has read my opinions before, you will know that I love to cook as it is one thing that I am really good at. I thought for this one I would share with you a few of my recipes. Nancy’s Shepherd's Pie Mix into a bowl 2lb minced lamb 1 onion chopped and diced salt and pepper (or a few optional spices) 3 knobs of butter or margarine 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil 4 tablespoons of plain flour 1 tablespoon of Tomato puree 2 OXO cubes Put the lamb into a frying pan and cook until the lamb is a nice brownish colour. Stir in the flour and mix well, add the tomato puree and then add the Oxo cubes and cook until the mince and sauce is a nice thick consistency. Boil and then mash some old potatoes. Add...

It has a bad reputation for dieters - but actually unless you are following the Atkin's diet they are very good for diets. The following nutrition information is for one serving of potatoes. That would be about one medium potato 2-1/4" to 3 -1/4" in diameter, or 213 grams. This is for any variety of raw potatoes; it is in the cooking of potatoes that you add fats and calories. CHINESE RECIPES!!!

Advantages: CHINESE FOOD IS JUST THE BEST!!!!
Disadvantages: SOME MAY OBVIOUSLY NOT LIKE CHINESE AS MUCH AS I DO!!!!

...or fat. This retains the natural goodnessand means that many dishes are low in calories, so for all you diet-freaks, there is no need to worry. The enormouse variety of chinese dishes might make you think that all sorts of unusual ingredients are required. In fact, most of the ingredients can be found in any supermarket and there is only one ingredient essenial to chinese cooking that is very different to any used in Western cooking. This is the soya bean, which is salted and fermented to form a range of products including soy sauce, soya bean curd and soya bean paste. These products, used together with everyday ingredients, can be used to produce countless recipes. Of course, in stores specializing in Chinese food there is a whole new world of exotic ingredients available. (But don't worry this ingredient does not need any of these exotic...

JUNKBOXJULES RECIPE FOR YUMMY CHOCOLATE CRUNCHIES

Advantages: They are quick and easy to make, they taste lovely and don't cost much to make
Disadvantages: None

...I was just browsing through Ciao and noticed there was a recipe category. I was prompted to add this recipe as a result of some awful Chocolate Cornflake Cakes I bought at a May Fayre yesterday. The cakes had been made by stirring Cornflakes into cheap melted cooking chocolate - YUK. My family have been great lovers of Chocolate Cornflake Cakes for some years and have we have a really yummy family recipe for these which has been passed down over the years. I have decided to share our recipe with you so that you can all enjoy making and eating them, beware though they are very moorish and are not a good idea if you are on a diet. **JUNKBOXJULES RECIPE FOR YUMMY CHOCOLATE CRUNCHIES** **INGREDIENTS** 4oz/100g Margerine 4 Tablespoons Golden Syrup 4 Tablespoons Icing Sugar (Sieved) 2 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder (Sieved...
