...The title is pretty much self-explanatory. This book defies all logic and reasoning! In this day and age of slasher movies and extremely pitiful thrillers, Intensity is a psychological thriller that definitely delivers! I still shudder (with both, terror and delight) at the very thought of this book! Intelligent plot and characters, intriguing choice of settings, mysterious, chilling (I sat up till dawn clutching my stuffed bear!) . . . there is nothing bad anyone can say about this book. You MUST get the Audiotape also. I've watched the little made-for TV movie (the fact that I even turned the tube on says a lot) and read the book over 13 times. I would put this book, and its hauntingly memorable characters, up there with Agent Starling and Hannibal Lecture in "Silence of the Lambs" and Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, and Morgan Freeman...

Intensely perfumed

Advantages: very versatile, long lasting, feminine

...Intense by Hugo Boss is a very versatile fragrance. With hints of Vanilla and amber, this is a very feminine and, in my opinion, sophisticated scent. This is a perfume that can be used for almost any occassion, light enough for day wear yet, equally sexy and seductive enough for a night out. It is also equally good in the summer months as winter, with a refreshing and warming scent. The scent is also long lasting and, although the aroma will not be as strong or noticeable as when first applied, it will comfortably last all day. Priced at around £34 for a 50ml bottle (although better deals can be found online) the price is not cheap but remains affordable, and you get the quality that you would expect at that price. The bottle itself is simple, yet attractive, with red glass that is darker at the top and much clearer...

...of the tube I'm told it's Intense Volume (TM) and around the back I'm told it's 'Fantastic volume with perfect separation and curl for lusher lashes and that's it's hypo-allergenic, the size is stated (as I've listed already) and contact details for Boots are given. On the top of the tube there is a colour coded label (as this is available in black, black/brown, brown and navy colour choices) and your told what colour it is (in my case I have the black colour). Nice enough tube and it's got a nice curve to the middle of it for ease of handling. Also it's a robust plastic meaning I find that with No7 mascara's in general they don't scratch and/or look scruffy over time and stay looking presentable. Intense Intensity

Advantages: Superbly written...compulsive reading.
Disadvantages: It comes to an end...

...Dermalogica is one of the best skincare ranges around today, in almost all salons I have been to they either use dermalogica products professionally themselves and/or reccomend it for people prone to sensative skin as well as dry or oily/acneic skin conditions. I first discovered this professional range when I was going through a period of ver bad acne but found almost everything hurt my sensative skin too much to use in the long run. ...I write this review immediately after using the product. It is WONDERFUL! I have tried almost the entire Chanel Precision Rectifiance line and it seems hit or miss - this is a definite hit! For a serum, the product is a bit thicker than most. It goes on easily and is readily absorbed, with no oily feeling or smell. Then, wait and watch as your skin brightens and plumps, and the lines smooth out. It seems to give me a glow and a evening of skin tone as well as a mildly moisturizing benefit. It's not so heavy that you can't add a lotion on top of it, which I do in the evening. During the day, it is actually perfect alone or under makeup. ...I always remember being a child and having my mum apply 'Blisteeze' to my lips in the winter, it would always sting but in a sort of tingly, nice way. 'Blisteeze rebranded to 'Blistex' and I hadn't really been aware of their products since. That was untill a few months ago when I was browsing Superdrug at a leisurely pace (it was bucketing with rain outside and I hadn't an umbrella :P) and noticed a whole Blistex range. One of which was 'Blistex Intensive Moisturiser' which on reading the packaging seemed just what I needed to repair my sore, cracked, dry lips. The price was quite a put off (nearly three pounds) and I didn't find the packaging particularly appealing, but the memories of this stuff doing wonders as a child and what the product promised did it for me.
