...I always seem to get loads of deodorants, perfumes and body sprays for chirstmases and birthdays, and of course I cannot complain - I love things like that.. With the Christmas just passed I received a set of four Charlie body sprays. I'd used Charlie products before and l have always loved it, though I had yet to try the ones in this set: black, secret,pink and red.
It was time to put the red body spray to the test. The bottle itself is quite attractive, a very cute little size. It is an incredibly shiny red colour too, most certainly eye catching. On the front 'Charlie' is written in swirly writing, with 'red' underneath it, giving it a look of glamour. It has a little red plastic cap on the top too, which makes a clicking noise when you pull it off.

I was in the mood for a magazine browse this week and spent some time flicking through various magazines at the newsagents before settling on a copy of Red magazine.
Unlike the other magazines on offer, Red didn't come with a free beach bag or pair of oversized flip-flops attached and it seemed to be geared towards an older age range than young teenages.

Lego make a variety of coloured base building plates for all the different types of Lego. This red building plate model number 2598 is one for Duplo Lego bricks. There are 24x 24 studs measuring 38cm x 38cm t so space for a reasonable large construction. This building plate is square except that the corners are rounded; this makes it safer for your tot to carry no sharp corners. This base plate is also made in green.
Building plates are an ideal addition to ant duplo set as they will give stability to that construction. They are good so that your child can extend their Duplo play scene and fix a person or a shed next to the house /tower that they have built. The colour being red is...

...I originally purchased this perfume for my Mum bout five years ago. I bought it for her not knowing what else to buy her quite frankly as she has had and still has a massive collection of perfumes. I got fed up and as a last resort went in Tj Hughes and this was on offer. Buy one get another of something else for £15.00. I'd never smelt it she'd never heard of it and I took a sniff and thought hmm that's my Mum to a T!
The Packaging:
Red box, very classy with gold print telling you it's name, the manufacturer and it's size. It's plain and quite elegant in design. The bottle is square with an oval shaped lid over a red sprayer. Its very nice and simple. The perfume is a golden colour and of course you can see that through the plain glass.

Simply Red have been around for a long long time now but I think their music is still relevant and great. I think they are one of those bands who have fans of all ages due to their easy listening, non offensive type music. Apparently, according to an article I read, Simply Red got their name because it was the lead singer's (Mick Hucknall's) nickname due to his red hair. I never knew this fact but it does make sense! It does always make me laugh though at how he has such good luck with the ladies. I mean, I know he's a big music star and probably has loads of money but he really is rather weird looking in my opinion but always seems to date gorgeous women!

Review of Stars - Simply Red
Advantages: The GeoMod 2 game engine has to be played to be believed Disadvantages: I can't mine!!!!
...The original Red Faction was the first title I ever had for my PS2. At the time I bought it, I didn't have enough money to get a memory card (and in those days, systems didn't come with them or have HDDs), so I literally spent 12 hours straight hammering through the game. I was drawn in by something revolutionary, the GeoMod engine, which allowed you to basically drill your way through the levels.
It set up staged events (who can forget blowing up walkway and watching that APC fall to its demise) and grabbed you by the short and curlies, forcing you to believe in the factions cause. Multiplayer was awesome too, blowing your way into secret areas, smashing your way into hidden sniper spots. Red Faction defined my next gen playing experience.

The Red Dahlia is one of many books by Lynda La Plante, who is possibly better known for her TV series Prime Suspect. It is the second book which features Anna Travis and James Langton.
The story features the very well known real life case of the Black Dahlia, the story opens with the discovery of a horrifically mutilated body, a young woman who seems to have been killed for no apparent reason and by a killer who has left no traces of itself for the police to follow.
It is Anna Travis' squad who are working on the case but early in the investigation Langton is brought in to head it up, Langton and Travis have not only worked together previously but had a relationship which seems to have left...

...I have to admit I am a very big fan of Hugo Boss perfumes in general, and this one is no different - I absolutely love it.

The packaging is a simple yet distinct design which can automatically be attached and associated with the Hugo Boss range. This one comes in a lovely dark red frosted glass with a silver lid. The lid is easily pulled off to find the usual ?squirt? button found on most perfumes. The wording on the bottle is simple and minimalist in a silver writing.
Whilst the bottle isn?t clear, when held up to light you can clearly see how much perfume is left, without it coming as a complete shock when it is no longer coming out the bottle!
The bottle, like most perfumes, comes with outer packaging. In this case the outer packaging is a small cardboard box again following the general colour theme...
