Red Bull Mmmmmmm

Advantages: Refreshing
Disadvantages: Price, all the rumours saying it will kill me :(

...I think I'm the reason Red Bull still exists, I buy so much of this stuff, to the extent I worry I'm addicted.. (apparently it is addictive) I don't remember the first time I actually tried it, but I obviously liked it. I used to buy a can in the morning before school, I probably had one in my bag for break and/or lunch too. I don't really feel it makes me energetic, I think it's more of a placebo effect, I just love the taste, I love the fact that it's fizzy, I'm a sucker for fizzy drinks. Appearance The can itself is taller and thinner than other soft drink cans, and is mainly silver with a metallic blue colour scheme. You'd think it would be easy to find in the shop, but I do sometimes spend a lot of time looking. Red Bull make Cola, too!

Advantages: sth new, healthier than Coke
Disadvantages: more expensive than Coke

...Somewhat funny cola I've never been a fan of Red Bull and if I have drunk 5 cans of it in my life, it's a lot. The taste just isn't for me, too fizzy and tastes "artificial". So Red Bull is not sth I would pay attention to, but this time it was different. Doing my last week's shopping I came across a new Red Bull can in the cold-drinks rack and to my surprise, it read "cola", hmm, now that was sth to try. Just the can already made me interested, typical thin Red Bull can, but quite taller, so I just couldn't have not noticed. Package and price One of the reasons I decided to try this drink was also the price. I won't bore you with numbers much, just let me say that a typical Red Bull can cost 38 - 45 CZK, which simply is too much for a single can of drink in my opinion and now this cola was "just" 24, not super cheap...

Red Bull - Bulls**t!

Advantages: May give you a little energy boost
Disadvantages: Costly, bad for your health and tastes ghastly

...Many people see Red Bull as the ideal energy booster or something to get you going after a night out on the booze. I really can't understand how some people almost become attatched to the stuff. They seem to live and die by it, swearing that it has some magical, mysterious powers. Quite frankly, those sort of people are absolutely barmy and I think they have a lot to learn. As you have probably gathered by now, I am really not a fan of this stuff. I am a keen sportsman, so I like to think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to energy and sports drinks. I find that a 500ml bottle of 'still' Lucozade or a bottle of Powerade will give you a whole lot more of an energy boost. ...I had read a little bit about Red Bull Cola but had never seen it. Then whilst looking in Wilkinson's saw it for around 45p this was a definite price I was happy to pay. Red Bull...and it contians no beef...

Advantages: Energy, low calorie, no sugar
Disadvantages: health benefits of sweetners is debateable, a weaker taste than the original stuff

...Currently on a mission to try every energy drink known to man I stumbled upon sugar free Red Bull, as I'm in an almost never ending state of exhaustion energy drinks and chocolates bars have been coming to my saviour recently. Red Bull Gives you wings!!

...Red Bull gives you wings, ok yes, we have all heard this marketing line but it says what it is made to do, an Energy Drink to stimulate body and mind. Red Bull is my all time favourite energy drink and the only one I would consider buying as I enjoy the taste and like the brand although I know it does not appeal to everybody. However, in 2006, more than 3 billion cans were sold in over 130 countries. That is a lot of energy! Red Bull contains a high amount of caffeine and taurine, however I have read that a can of Red Bull contains about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee so in my opinion it is not that much.
