...When Lisa Reisert boards the red eye flight back to Miami after going to her grans funeral, she is sat beside handsome stranger Jackson Rippner who she previously met in the airport bar. Starting off as a friendly banter between the two, the flight soons descends into a flight of terror for Lisa as he reveals that he is part of a plot to assassinate an important politician who is staying with his family at the hotel she manages in. Revealing that if she doesn't change the politician's room to make the assassination possible, his people will have her father killed, she has to choose between saving her father and saving the politician and his family. Lisa tries to find a way to save both, using her ingenuity, but the mad man always seems one step ahead of her. Wes Craven is responsible for some of the best horror films of his time...

Glad Eye turned Red Eye

Advantages: Competently shot, acted adn scripted
Disadvantages: A couple of minor effects niggles and too much volume on the soundtrack, but nothing major

...Lisa is having a bad day. On the way home from her grandmother's funeral, her flight is seriously delayed. But things seem to be looking up as she continually bumps into a charming man at the airport terminal. Except Jackson is more than he seems; and under the veneer of charm and respectability lurks a dangerous man. Horror maestro Wes Craven is no stranger to building sweaty-palmed tension and with "Red Eye" he makes an effective return to the thriller genre. I Am Taking The Red Eye Flight Again!

Advantages: Gripping, Intellegent, Well Acted and Directed, Subtle
Disadvantages: Some Unintentional Giggles

...Lisa has just come back from her Grandma's funeral and is having a pretty bad day - the flights are delayed, her father is constantly worried about her and she is stuck reading a Doctor Phil book. However when she meets Jackson Rippner her day perks up abit - he is charming and handsome and helps her pass the time. However, when they board the plane they part ways, until she sees that they are sitting together that is. At first he is good humoured and she begins to enjoy his company, but then he turns - he has her father hostage and will kill him unless she uses her managerial powers to switch the presidents room at the hotel she works at. How can she choose between her father and the president? And will she be able to escape this psychopath alive? Red eye.. must watch

Advantages: Fast pace.. good acting
Disadvantages: none really.

...Wes Craven, as we know has churned out many good flicks, Red eye another credit to his list, along with the likes of the SCREAM triology. The film starts off showing a busy woman travelling back to Miama on the red eye flight (hence the tite!), after attending her Grandmothers funeral. As her flight is delayed.. and there is a alot of chaos at the airport. Lisa meets a friendly guy named Jackson, a slight mystery to him, but portrays his character excellently. After having a drink, Lisa says bye and subsequently boards the plane, not knowing what disaster is going to happen next, adding to that she has a fear of flying, so it wasnt going to be easy. One of the treatments I take to ease the itchy eyes is an opticrom eye drop Opticrom is a cromolyn sodium ophthalmic solution; USP It is clear, colourless, sterile solution. It can be got on prescription or can be bought over the counter it may be cheaper over the counter if you have to pay prescription charges. This liquid is in a bottle with an eye dropper 1 or 2 drops can be applied to your eyes 3 or 4 times a day, do read the instructions on the bottle label. ...'ll never happen". I know most films stretch the bounds of reality a bit but this just goes too far. There were too many times I was saying, why doesn't she do this or why doesn't she do that. The scenes on the plane are quite well shot, and there are a few surprises, although most of them stick out like a sore thumb. Brian Cox is a wonderful and often underused actor, his talents really do not belong on this film, he is wasted. The bad guy in this film is well cast, he has a very strange look about him, especially his eyes, that suit the part well, he looks quite like Vernon Kay to me which is a bit off putting. On the whole, despite being disappointed at the end, if you are looking to fill an hour and a half and aren't in the mood for anything with too much depth then it's worth a look, otherwise I'd avoid it. Old Red Eyes is Back

...A few days ago, my eyes began to sting and water profusely. The skin around my eyes also turned bright red. I dismissed it, thinking it was because of the pork my mother was grilling. When it happened again at work the next day, I realised it must be something else. So, I trotted off to see the pharmacist. She asked me if my eyes were glued together with mucus first thing in the morning. I told her they weren’t and she concluded that it was conjunctivitis. Deciding that it was probably an everyday, general eye infection, she recommended Optrex Eye Lotion (with eye bath).
