Advantages: Looks elegant, keeps my eyes shaded.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever.

...I've always liked to wear something on my head, I'm not the elegant lady-like type and not very courageous fashion-wise, I've never worn a stylish felt creation adorned with feathers and stuff, I'm more a straw hat in summer and woollen cap in winter woman. Some years ago I decided to wear not just any cheap straw hat any more but the real thing, a Panama hat, as it becomes an elderly lady. But it's not only this, I've never been a one for sunbathing and after two cataract operations I've become even more adverse to direct sunshine, I need my hat now. Of course, I don't get a suntan this way, but I won't get skin cancer, either. I shall wear this hat when I go for walks in the hills when it is cold; It will help keep me cozy. This hat is made of Polartec® Power Stretch® fabric, which is extremely low bulk but has great thermal properties so it takes up little room in my pocket or back pack and does not make my head look massive. Advantages: Great rhyme and a popular character.
Disadvantages: Not as humorous as some of her other books.

We go through the days of the week from Monday to Sunday and follow Mrs Honey?s activities through the week. Each day she goes somewhere- Monday the park with her grandson, Tuesday she visited a friend, Wednesday she had a day at the beach, Thursday she picked dandelions, Friday Mrs honey visited an old castle, Saturday a cat show and Sunday she went to church. ...When I was little, I adored the Bear Factory - not known as Build a Bear Workshop. I remember when it first opened - I was amazed by all those teddy bears, all the options, the clothes! Of course, the price of the store never occurred to me, and I would just spend all my pocket money in there all the time. Having (supposedly) matured now, I do not go in there for myself, though I do go in and buy my sister a lot of things from there. It gives me an excuse to a) spoil her and b) spend time in the store without feeling like an idiot! One of the latest items I bought her, along with a few bits to match, is the polka dot rain hat. ...the meantime, the hat is being used by birds as a nest, is spotted by a cat who is chased by a dog and ends up stuck in a tree. Finally, the fire brigade is called out. Rosie rescues the cat from the tree and at the same time finds her treasured hat from her childhood. The last illustration shows how a fresh gust of wind has blown a red baseball cap from the head of one of the children watching the rescue ...... Perhaps an opportunity for a sequel? As already stated, this is a very simple book. Most of the double page spreads have either 2 or 4 lines to them. The story is told in rhyming couplets and there is a great deal of onomatopoeia and it reminds me a little of 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'. 'A screech owl flies above the beach. FLAP, FALP! Advantages: A very soft sounding rock album - you can listen to with a headache
Disadvantages: Music which can be depressing at times

...slow ballad, this song is encouraging someone to chase his or her dream, even if it does seem like a lost cause, and not to give up on that dream too early. *****AND FINALLY - MY OVERALL THOUGHTS***** Wow that was hard. Listening to the album to give my personal opinion has really brought those memories flooding back again ? but I?m always happy when it does, as it makes me grateful for the life that I now have. Overall, the music of the band has not changed that much within the albums from which these tracks were drawn, and as a result the same type of excellent music comes across with each song. If I had one criticism it would be that their music can be just too depressing at times ? and so they have obviously written it from personal experiences, as most writers do.
