...I have always had a very sweet tooth for as long as I can remember. I love nothing more than browsing round Woolworths on a Saturday at all the lovely confectionary and pick?n?mixes they have!! I'm even worse just now with all the Christmas sweets in stock! One of my all time favourite sweets is a tube of Refreshers! Oh I used to love these as a kid and they are still around today! They are made by Bassett?s which I am sure you will all know are famous for the character - Bertie Bassett ? you know - liquorice allsorts!!! Well today whilst in Superdrug I spied Refreshers and thought I would treat myself to a tube, well actually two! They cost 20p per tube which I reckon is excellent value compared to about 40p for a chocolate bar. ~~The Wrapper~~ The way in which Bassett?s have packaged these is very eye catching indeed...

A refreshing experience

Advantages: smells nice

...Having not been able to locate my normal choice of Fabreeze in my local supermarket I decided that as I have actually ran out of Fabreeze that I would give Comfort Refresh a try. What is Comfort refresh - well according to the guys at comfort it is a fabric refresher spray which neutralises odours like smoke and food, leaving that 'just-washed' freshness of comfort. Now the reason I use a fabric freshener is not because we a smelly people who chain smoke and live in a kitchen full of food smells it is because that the tumble drier I have is not suitable for the fabric conditioner, anti static sheets. It's misty & it refreshes!

Advantages: Lovely scents, nice variety, design of the product is stylish, does not mask odours.

Refreshing wash ideal for sensitive skin

At night I use Clinique Comforting Cleanser but wanted a lighter face wash to refresh me in the morning and thought this looked pretty good. I got it from Boots and it was only £2.99 for the 150ml bottle which I thought was really cheap! It claims that it will revive tired skin and get rid of make-up, dirt and pollution. Review of Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel

Refreshing sweets? Nonsense! but still very yummy!

Disadvantages: Not as fizzy as the old chewy bar.

...A stroll down Memory Lane is always welcome, if the memories are 'sweet' ones, that is! I used to buy Matlow's Snap Crackle bars when I was a child because I loved the chewy sweet with the fizzy bits in the middle. The fizzy bits making them so great, in my opinion. Then I discovered Refresher bars which were a similar sort of thing but a lemon flavour. They also made them in smaller 'chews'. I always remember biting into these bars and the sherbet fizzy bits falling out onto my clothes! I was interested to see recently, in my local Tesco store, packs of chews which were smaller and squarer than the original ones so they can fit in a standard size pack of 10. YUMMY! Leaves you feeling refreshed.

...Murad Refreshing Cleanser - I think that this cleanser/exfoliator is the perfect solution at times when you feel that your skin is dry, oily or simply lifeless. It cleanses the skin by getting rid of excess oils and the microbeads get to work by slowly massaging the skin and exfoliating it whilst you rub it in. In my opinion, it is best used early in the morning when you get up and also late at night just before you are going to sleep. This is because it leaves your skin feeling plumper and much more hydrated. Refreshers are fruity flavoured fizzy sweets made by barratt. You can buy them for around 20p normally although some shops will charge up to 30p . You can,t get them from all shops but i,ve found that a lot of newsagents do sell them . They come in a pack around the same size as a pack of polo mints .
