Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. ...Was looking for a domain name mainly to play about with and build a website. I went for a .co.uk domain name but went elsewhere for webhosting due to cost vs what it will be used for. The hardest part of registering a domain name with them was between the pc desk and the chair - yes me ! I spent a good 30 minutes deciding which name to choose. Once decided off I went filling in the details and in no time at all registered with my own web name. The layout is very easy to understanding with a simple list of options, each option has a description of what it is. At the time of registering it cost me about £6 for 2 years and offered free search engine submission for 10 search engines. Disadvantages: very limited and very poor service

...If I had known the problems I would experience with 123-reg InstantSite, I would not have purchased their services. First up - the templates are pretty badly designed and there's not as much choice as I had been lead to believe. Secondly, once I had finished writing my website, I went to publish it and a message appeared saying 'congratualtions, you have successfully published your website'. However, this was not the case and it was not up and running until 3 days later - not very instantaneous. Lastly, there is an advertising banner covering part of my homepage that cannot be moved or minimized. This covers my text. I was not aware there would be advertising when I bought the site. Beware! p.s there customer service support is very poor. You have to wait days to receive a reply - if you get one at all - and the help line...

...Having read a few opinions about how bad this site is , I would like to write about how pleased I was to use 123-reg.co.uk. I made a web page about six months ago as you get to make a free webpage with Aol. I decided to make one which has links to winning prizes and earning cash on line. A helpful page if your interested in that sort of thing. Having made the page I decided to register it with a name and 123-reg.co.uk was recommended to me. When you log onto this site your taken to a page which shows you the prices of registering for a domain name and for web hosting or search engine submittance. You can also check to see if anyone else has used the site name you want and can choose another if they have. You can also build a site with 123-reg for 4.99p a month. I think it's better just to make your own web page then...

...My recent quest for FREE DVD hire I visited and many DVD web sites that offered a free trial. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so. My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk. Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. With Blockbuster?s things are different slightly ? which add a great deal of benefit to us the customer. A Way of Life-its not for me

...This review is of one of Reg Kray's books, "A Way of Life". It is written while he is in prison and gives an account of his life in each of the prisons he has been sent to. I picked this as my Grandad was said to have been friends with the Krays, and since finding this out I have been interested in the gangsters lives. On the front cover is a recent photo of Reg. The photo is black and white, placed on a black background. The title is written in red, while the words Reg Krat and 'Over thirty years of Blood, Sweat and Tears' appear in white. Some further photos of Reg are displayed on the back cover. Reg Kray and his twin brother, Ron, were arrested on the 8th May, 1968 on charges of murder, extortion, fraud, bonds charges and causing grievous bodily harm. ...I hadn't thought of BMW before but that changed one wet Monday when with a screech of tortured rubber, the back end of my elderly but serviceable Volvo 240 was forcibly rearranged by someone with only a passing knowledge of wet braking conditions. Needing an estate for work, I asked my friendly motor trade contact to sort something out. He suggested a 5 series touring. And why not I thought... So, a while later, a rather nice K reg turns up - I break the piggy bank open & hey presto! I'm now a BMW owner - although this one does seem to be fitted with the indicators that judging from the behaviour of many owners, must surely be optional! It's the E34 model, so a few years old but doesn't look at all dated. It gives the right impression when turning up anywhere on business and although it's done nearly 100k miles, there's no rust...
