Quite literally 'Meat free'

...Let me first clarify that I am by no standards a vegetarian; I love white meat such as chicken and Turkey, and the occassional sausage and bacon. I like spaghetti bolegnaise or shepherds pie ready meals but I actually can't stand minced meat; it's grisly and chewy - even the extra lean stuff. I find this a shame becasue I love to make homemade dinners. I was browsing the rice aisle during our shop at Asda when I spotted 'Asda Meat free savoury mince' in a packet. Now, I wouldn't write a review for the sake of it. I'm writing this review because you, like I did, may be slightly wary of a packeted meat free mince product that costs just 58p. Region 1 - Well worth working for it

Advantages: more films, quicker, cheaper
Disadvantages: hassle to sort out multiregion capabilities (sometimes)

However there are times when I just feel the need for something sweet, I have got over the craving for chocolate but sometimes I just want something sweet, so Hartleys Sugar Free Jelly has been a godsend to me. This jelly comes in a two pack of granules to be made up. It is very easy to make the jelly up, measure out a half pint of boiling water and stir the granules in. I have experimented a bit with this, I have tried adding the water to the granules and the granules to the water and to my surprise found that adding the granules to the water had the best effect.
