Disadvantages: Still too shilled out and relaxed to think of any!!

...For Christmas, my lovely sister and her family gave me a voucher for a pampering session at Fenwick's Regis Salon in the centre of Newcastle. Being the terribly dis-organised woman that I am it took me till the end of July this year to get around to booking myself in, but I have to tell you it was well worth the wait! Firstly, let me tell you what the voucher was for: Express Pedicure Express Manicure Hair Washed and Styled Estimated time: 1hr 45 mins Tea/coffee/juice included. Fenwick is a very famous Newcastle based department store, situated on Northumberland Street in the heart of the city centre. It's very easy to get to, with great transport links, and it's famous green logo can be spotted a mile away! There are lifts or escalators to all floors, and the salon is on the 3rd floor, next to a lovely terrace café...

Lovely Lyme Regis

Advantages: Charming. Lovely atmosphere. Great views.
Disadvantages: Car parking is difficult in the summer months

...In my opinion one of the greatly under-rated counties of England is Dorset and one of the loveliest little resorts to visit just has to be Lyme Regis. This little gem of a place is an absolute delight for sore eyes and it comes as no surprise to me that the great American actress Meryl Streep,after filming there,fell in love with the place. The resort has some delightful buildings, the cob, and some excellent hotels,guest houses and bed and breakfast places. The town also has a number of tradtional English inns which have foreigners drooling and there are wonderful views to be enjoyed. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and the whole place just oozes character.It is very hilly which could make it difficult for the elderly to get about the place and in the height of the season car parking can be difficult. Regis - good haircut, bad atmosphere

Advantages: Good haircut. Appointment available at very short notice.
Disadvantages: Bad atmosphere - unfriendly, not welcoming. Difficult to contact by phone.

A friend recommended Regis, so I tried to phone and book an appointment at the Metro Centre salon - but the phone was always engaged. ONE of Your FIVE-A-DAY in one FRUITUS Cereal Bar

Advantages: Over 50% Fruit; 100% Natural Organic Ingredients; Wheat/Dairy Free
Disadvantages: Quite a dense moist bar which requires a lot of chewing. Not crunchy like Jordans.

...give only a very subtle variation in the flavour. I do not know how much you can distinguish the the Apple or Apricot in their bars as I have never found them for sale, but as the Apricot bar has 27% Apricot, it might be a stronger flavour. . I gave a small piece of each of my two flavours to my husband the other night to try without telling him which variety he was tasting, to see if he could identify the flavours. He tasted raspberry and blueberry, he thought, in the mixed berry bar but could not identify the flavour of the ?superfruits? variety, except to identify that there was a taste in the back of the throat; when I told him it was the pomegranate, he said, "Oh, yes! Butlins at Bognor Regis - good for entertainment

Always Excellent!

Advantages: Fantastic results, very knowledgable staff, open 7 days a week.
Disadvantages: Expensive (but worth it)!

...I starting using Regis salons only recently, however am thrilled with the excellent service I have received. I suffer from Crohn's disease and due to a combination of ill health and the side effects of immunosuppressant medication my hair had thinned considerably. Following this I decided to go for hair extensions, to add volume and found Regis in Chester was one of the only places in my area to offer them. As I arrived I got the impression the salon was relatively busy, friendly, well laid out and very clean. I firstly attended a free 20 minute or so consultation only to talk about my requirements, my stylist seemed very knowledgable which certainly put me at ease. My hair was already highlighted so we discussed touching up the roots and perhaps changing things up a little too, along with a colour match for the extensions...

...Butlins Bognor Regis I have been on 4 holidays to Butlins, and experienced every resort Skegnes, Minehead and Bognor (2). This review is based on my stay at Bognor. Overview of accommodation: Standard is ok usually the best if you are short on cash or if you are with a group of mates and won't be spending a lot of time in your chalet/room. Silver is above average larger rooms with TV. Good for families. Gold is my personal favourite, large spacious rooms with a good size lounge and a huge kitchen area with breakfast table. There is plenty of kitchen work top space so that 2 people can easily be preparing 2 things at once. Helpful if you have children. Gold and Silver are ideally suited to families. ...my neighbour always used to do my hair for a fiver but since coming to university i have been shopping around for offers and after spotting a poster in the widown of regis, £15 cut for first time customers- i decided to give it a go and do something a bit different. (note-this offer has finished but its sure to come round again). Upon arrival I was seated and naturally coerced into getting a special treatment inluding head massage for an extra £9.50, which i guess made the whole thingless of a bargain-but my hair sure was shiny after!!
