Remington BHT2000 Body Groomer

Advantages: All in one solution to all the grooming needs

...I was searching for a complete solution to Body grooming and after 2 months research on internet and various magazines I finally zeroed on this groomer from remington. I have been using it for 6 months now and am really happy with the kind of features it has. At first, I took a little while to adjust to the hair length setting but once I was comfortable with it the results of grooming were much better. It also has an extra shaver attachment, which I found usefule to give complete finish to the grooming. Moreover, since it is cordless, once charged it can be used without the worry of the length of the wire. In a nutshell, It does what it says. I would surely recommend it as a value for money for first time buyers like me....

Remington CS2000 slim ceramic straightener

Advantages: Gets hair straighter
Disadvantages: Doesn't get very hot

The Remington CS2000 sort of does the job, but nothing like a salon-standard product. It comes down to the phrase 'you get what you pay for'. I don't regret buying them - I'd have been more annoyed at paying £50+ for something I couldn't get to grips with using. At least I know now that I will invest in a higher quality product in a year or two. The remington CS2000 is a reasonable starter product to learn the technique of straightening hair but its very basic and you could outgrow them quick and soon want another pair. Can Ionic tehcnology really do this??

Advantages: Light-weight, fantstic results, reasonable price

It was also known as an Ionic dryer, which I know gives better results when blow-drying. It also has a cool shot, which I find is important to set your hair-style. Remington S9000

Advantages: temperature control, smooth plates

...With wavy hair, I haven't got ringlets to iron out, so the lower temperature settings on the Remington S9000 were perfect for me. To perfect styles, the higher temperatures work alright. The Remington S9000s aren't the best straighteners I have ever owned, after a year of use I can tell the difference between brand new and well used; unlike the GHD's I owned for 2 years! The smooth plates are kind to my hair, but with hairspray can become sticky - like most hair straighteners. The Remington S9000s are also quite difficult to programme to the right temperature, a simple 'hot' or 'cool' setting would have worked perfectly, but its like using a clothes iron on your hair! The Remington S9000s are also quite heavy, unlike the GHD's, so even though they straighten out my waves for a good few hours, I wouldn't recommend them to people...
