Not me thats for sure, I suffer a lot with acid indigestion and heartburn and this varies from general discomfort and bloating to full blown acid in my throat burning and bubbling away. ...Rennie tablets The Rennie brand is seemingly one of the most recognisible in it's category. They are taken for indigestion and heartburn but are also supposed to relieve wind problems and problems with digestion in pregnancy. This particular product is the spearmint flavour which is part of a whole spectrum of Rennie products including 'Rennie Ice' and 'Rennie fruit'. Indigestion and Heartburn..what is this? As I didn't know really what indigestion was I thought I'd tell you what I learnt about it! Incase anyone reading this is unsure of whether they need to consider this product or not. It is casued by a build up of too much acid in your stomach and means that generally a pain is felt in the stomach or just behind your rib cage. ...I suffer from indigestion quite frequently and have tried several of the remedies available on the market, including Andrews, Gasviscon and Bisodol. They have each proved to be effective but it is not very practical to carry around with you a tin of Andrews or a bottle of Gaviscon so until recently it was the latter Bisodol which I tended to buy as these are available in tablet form and fit easily into your pocket or bag. Knowing that he also has a packet of them with him or my grandmother at all times shows his belief in them as the premier indigestion tablets. Heaven in a Box for Heartburn!

Ouch, arghh, and ouch again...

Advantages: They certainly work
Disadvantages: Taste a bit chalky

...the vast majority of the population this means absolutely nothing, but I'm a namby pampy, liberal vegetarian, and as gelatine is made from animals (usually cow or pig) I'm a bit averse to it!! So I moved onto that pensioners favourite, Rennie! And what choice you get with Rennie, not only can you have the standard flavour, but you can even buy a spearmint version, my cup runneth over! Sorry, I don't mean anything against Rennie, I'm just a bit peeved to be getting heartburn, it really does nothing for my temper you know. The blurb on the back of the packets says 'relieves acid indigestion, heartburn, nervous indigestion, acidity, flatulence, upset stomach, dyspepsia or biliuosness'.
