Advantages: Heart Warming, Action Packed, AMAZING!
Disadvantages: Makes you cry everytime! without fail!

...This is without a doubt my favourite movie. Its a love story and an action movie all rolled into one. However, its not the type of love story that you would expect. There is no romance involved. Natalie Portman in her earlier stages of her career plays the part of a young and vibrant girl who has had a very hard time growing up. Her father being a drug dealer and coming from a very modest background. The film is set in Little Italy in america and jean reno plays the part of a heroic hit man. It tells a truely heart warming tale about a man who never knew the meaning of family or friends until he meets Natalie Portman. Advantages: New 3D gameworld. Intuitive control system

...Onimusha 3 Demon Siege is a pretty easy action & adventure game in which you control two characters a samurai known as Samanosuke and a French soldier called Jacques. Interestingly enough the latter is voiced by the French actor Jean Reno. During the course of the game these two characters join forces in an effort to defeat hordes of demonic undead. Onimusha 3 Starts off with a amazing looking cut scene that looks like a cross between Starship Troopers Star Wars and Night of the Living Dead. The game begins in medieval Japan where Samanosuke is attempting to eliminate the evil warlord Nobunaga once and for all. Just as he is about to fight Nobunaga in combat he is mysteriously transported into the future to 2004. Simply Superb

Advantages: Gary Oldman is devine. Good story and direction
Disadvantages: Not many

..."Leon" directed by the French god that is Luc Besson is one of the finer action/thriller films of the 1990's. A brilliant cast enlightens our screens and a great script delves into our ears. Leon (Jean Reno) is a hitman. He works alone and does not "hit" women or children. When a rather nasty Gary Oldman leaves Leon's neighbour, poor little Matilda (Natalie Portman), an orphan - she seeks him for help. The movie takes us through the blossoming friendship and journey faced by Leon and Matilda. Reno is brilliant as the Italian hitman, considering he didn't speak English at the time it was made, Portman deals with her part well but it is Gray Oldman who steals the show as an insane, drug taking and violent New York Cop. The film is fairly fast paced and very energetic. A must for all film fans....

Tremendous film

Advantages: acting, storyline
Disadvantages: can get a bit gory

...Leon is the story of a little girl and a hitman who make an unlikely couple to join forces and defeat a corrupt and psycho cop. The story begins with Natalie Portman in her not-so-brilliant home life, with only her little brother for companionship and love. Her father a not too bright dodgy dealer makes a huge mistake in crossing a corrupt, strung-out cop superbly played by Gary Oldman. This results in the entire family, minus Portman, being wiped out in a blaze of gunfire whilst she's at the shop buying milk. Jean Reno lives in the same apartment bloke as Portman and although she's tried to talk to him in the past, he has ignored all human contact, other than an Italian friend who gives him his hitman jobs. Advantages: Great acting, script, action
Disadvantages: A bit unbelievable?

...Luc Besson's film is excellent, with lots of action sequences, but unusually for a film of this type there is a great concentration on the characters. There is a tendency for action flicks to portray the main players as one-dimensional, but here they are deep, and are developed well as the film progresses. Jean Reno is impressive as the socially awkward loner that is transformed into an efficient killing machine when given a job, eradicating his victims with no pity or conscience. Natalie Portman very cleverly acts out her role as his 'assistant' and Gary Oldman plays his best screen role as the corrupt police commander...

Stop the car Im going to throw up

Advantages: Story, action sequences
Disadvantages: I didn't watch it sooner

...I bought this film and then let it sit on the shelf for about 12 months before I could be bothered to watch it...IDIOT. This is a strange new approach to the genre and works brilliantly, with the creators putting in far more background and tension than we're used to but never skimping on actiona and excitement. The cast (with the exception of Reno) are not really known in this genre but with the style being so different, De Niro and co just work brilliantly together and it results are right up there on the screen. The action sequences are breathtaking and are like nothing seen before. Forget your car chases in Bullitt and The French Connection, this is a real rollercoaster and you'll almost find yourself swaying to avoid the rest of the traffic. Great cast, great action, and a more in depth story than usual mark this out as...
