...Blade was first released in 1998, directed by Stephen Norrington, and starring Wesley Snipes as a half human half vampire, who's mission is to slay all the bad vampires of the world. When I first saw this film I loved it, I was a big fan of the comic books, and watching a big screen adaptation was just well worth the wait. I thought snipes was a brilliant actor to play blade, having seen his early films i.e. passenger 57, and demolition man, this guy is a awesome martial arts expert and can kick ass. If I was to explain Blade to anyone who hasn't seen it, I would describe it as a more violent, intense and action packed Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As sharp as his blade

Advantages: Wesley Snipes, loads of blood and action

...I love films with Wesley Snipes and when this came out on DVD I just had to have it! Hubby is used to my penchant for vampire films and just did the right thing by keeping quiet and letting me have my way. ...Sorry folks but this is another medical review, I don't want to become too well known for these but on the other hand there was no category for this and hence no advice for me to look up before I went into hospital recently for this operation, so first of all thanks to the Ciao Proposal Team for getting this sorted out so quickly for me, roughly 24 hours is good going considering your so busy. Blade VS Dracula!!!! Hell Yeah!!!!

Advantages: Amazing action, cool characters, brilliant special effects, sublime sound track.
Disadvantages: Storyline very similar to last 2.

...Blade trinity bought an amazing conclusion to a brilliant trilogy and is in my opinion one of the best vampire films ever made. I was on the edge of my seat watching this film and there wasn't a dull moment. The Film Story This is where the blade trilogy fails a little bit, every movie seemed to have the same storyline dressed up in different characters and locations: The vampires are scared of blade so they try to obtain some kind of super-vampire to kill him but he ends up killing it. I.E. # Blood God # Nomak # Dracula It would also have been nice to have an ending where blade doesn't need to be saved by one of the other characters. But as with the other two films, he gets into near fatal trouble at the end. However, having said that, this didn't bother me that much because the action more than makes up...

Kill Or Be Replaced

...Remember those brainless yet enjoyable eighties action fests that involved pointing and firing guns that never ran out of ammo and cars that ramdomly exploded when they got shot up or crashed? Yes? No? Approaching toward the ninties we still had dumb action flicks but we also had more sophisticated films out there to view and enjoy. Slowly but surely, the action flick where one seemingly bulletproof hero up against hundreds of trained evil badmen dried up and were replaced with action films with a little more substance in the storyline. In a sea of current slasher films and melodramas screaming for oscar recognition, it's a relief to see the more action driven cliched ventures again. Some of course are complete tosh, but "The Replacement Killers" is certainly above average. The seemingly bulletproof hero in this case is kung fu...

Advantages: Virtually unbreakable.
Disadvantages: A bit dearer than ordinary blades.

..., personally I pay about 75 pence each. If you buy in bulk you will get them a lot cheaper, but a blade seems to last me for ever. These blades are very hard wearing, the teeth are hardened, and last a long time indeed. They do not break, even if the hacksaw is twisted. You can use them mounted two at a time to make a wider cut, such as a screwdriver slot in the head of a bolt for instance. Some people say these hacksaws are going out of date, being replaced by reciprocating saws and small angle grinders, I say they will be used for centuries to come. I always keep a spare blade on my hacksaw handle, and oil the blade to give lubrication, unless cutting cast iron or brass. Like all tools, take good care of them and they will last you many years, this refers to the hacksaw more than the blades....
