  Wii Resort For Island Sports

Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory
Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games

Get active at Wii Sports Resort.......for a price!

Advantages: fun to play with family and friends, lots of game choices, some really fun games, multiplayer
Disadvantages: very expensive, some potentially boring games, not as well designed as it could be.

Advantages: great fun, great multiplayer capabilities
Disadvantages: possibly the price but other than that nothing!!!!

...Wii sports resort is the next step up from the original wii sports game, only not only is it a step up its a leap forward in the fun factor. With even more sports available its difficult to get bored of this game, and very easy to get addicted to it!!!! There are 12 sports available on the game:- swordplay Wakeboarding Frisbee Archery basketball table tennis golf bowling power cruising canoeing cycling airsports. So far my favourite sports have been the wakeboarding, the frisbee and the table tennis, although i have tried all of the sports on the game and i liked everyone of them.   Meedhupparu: A Pearl of a Resort

Advantages: Stunning beauty, tranquility, dive sites
Disadvantages: Italians on an ice-cream company conference. Err...that's about it.

However, nearly two years later, still childless and facing the prospect of infertility treatment, we decided to spend the (by now unnecessarily large) baby funds on a holiday to cheer ourselves up. We found a last minute deal online to the four-star Meedhupparu Island Resort for the first two weeks in January 2001. The price was around £800 each for full board, which seemed a real bargain. However, we struggled to find the resort in any of the mainstream brochures (including our carrier - JMC) as it only opened in June 2000, so I guess we took a small gamble. The resort is now carried by major operators including First Choice and Thomson, and a similar fourteen night break with Thomson departing from Gatwick on the 1st Jan 2006 would set you back £1,399 each. Advantages: Cheap and lovely atmosphere

...very anxious to see it in daylight to work out how big the place was! Rooms Our room was huge, I have added some pictures but basically each building has three floors of rooms and around 20 rooms on each floor, there were approximately 30 buildings spread over the resort so it was huge! Our room was one large room with two double beds, a table and chair, balcony door, chest of drawers and a tv, and obviously a wardrobe. The first thing I noticed was how clean the room was, all of the rooms are very simply decorated and the lights are very dim so it is hard to adjust in the first few days. Our bathroom was a good size and had a bath with shower in it, sink and toilet. I had no complaints at all about the room, it was simple and stylish, and although I wouldn?t rate it at 5 stars, i would definitely give it 4 and I cannot express how...

...I booked a holiday with Park Resorts at Cayton Bay. On the website there are pictures of their accomodation and a description of activities and facilities avaialble. Having looked at the pictures and choices of static caravans and activities available on the date we wanted to go, we decided on the silver option. So we arrived looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday. Unfortunately that isn't what we got. The caravan was small, the carpets were dirty and weren't fitted properly. The kitchen was dirty, as was the seating and eating areas. It was also crawling with spiders and earwigs. You were unable to go in the second bedroom as it had 2 fitted beds and no room to walk in. ...Following up on our stay at Ashcroft Park resort this weekend. What a disappointment after traveling and spending a few weekends at other Park resorts throughout this year, we had decided to buy a caravan, to accommodate friends and family coming abroad. We wanted to buy one close to home and on the coast, after spending the weekend at Ashcroft we have had an absolute letdown by the park. Firstly the advertisement around the park on breakfast and dinner is complete false advertising. English breakfast from £1.99 from 10 o clock, you couldn't even get a dry piece of toast at 12 o'clock if you tried. 2 meals for £10.00 between 12 and 6pm, Have you tried to get dinner at 6pm. We put our order in for dinner at 6pm and were served dinner when the chef came in at 7.20pm hour and 20 min for a meal. Sunday is the best we put our order in at 7...

...What a Fantastic little Island, Fihalhohi Island Resort is in the South Male Atoll in the Maldives. After a 10 and a half hour flight from Gatwick we landed at Male International Airport, we were escorted to the Speed boat. The transfer was only 40 minutes with views of other islands on the way. As we approached the island we knew this was the Paradise we expected. Tall palm trees, white sand beaches, bright blue skies and turquoise sea. We walked down the small wooden jetty to the reception while the boat crew carried our cases. We were given a refreshing fruit drink with cool towels then filled in our registration cards. We were taken to our room by the staff who very kindly carried our heavy cases, we tipped them a few dollars for this.
