Disadvantages: Unexpected experiences. Pollution. Bad roads. Drunks.

Breakfast is taken anything between 5.30am and midday, the main meal usually being eaten after work finishes - around 4.00pm. Consequently, if for instance you find yourself in a restaurant in Krakow at 1.30pm, you could well be the only diners there, at 4.00pm you may well be lucky to find a table at all! If eating out in Poland we tend to stick to English meal times, if you eat dinner at 7.00pm again...

Poland's most beautiful city - a Must-See
Advantages: Fantastic architecture with a diverse mix of styles, very good nightlife and arts scene, excellent place for buying anything antique.
Disadvantages: None really. I wish Krakow stays just the way it is. Only the Kazimierz district requires some restoration work, but that's already underway.
...I have had three business trips to Krakow in the last year, and always decided to stay a day longer as I had quickly fallen in love with this picturesque medieval city. This is for sure the most beautiful city in Poland, and Krakow does not need to fear comparisons with other Eastern European highlights such as Prague and Budapest.

Advantages: Always one close by, quick turn out, children are welcome and catered for.
Disadvantages: Toilets can be quite disturbing, not all dishes taste as good they are described.
