Advantages: The food is consistently excellent! Sticky toffee pudding is to die for mmm....

...The Lime Tree is an independent restaurant is situated in leafy West Didsbury in South Manchester.
For those unfamiliar, Didsbury has a fairly foodie reputation and there are tonnes of restaurants, both chain and independents throughout the area. For as long as I can remember it is unofficially referred to "the best restaurant in Didsbury".

Legendary portugese chicken restaurant
Advantages: lovely lovely food, nice atmosphere, cheap drinks
Disadvantages: None
...I remember when Nando?s first opened and I was told it was primarily a chicken-serving restaurant. I was told every dish involves chicken and wasn?t particularly interested in going there. I didn?t see how a proper sit down restaurant could revolve around chicken and be so popular or interesting as you can?t really be that creative with chicken. My friends and family had all visited Nandos...

...I have to admit the first time I visited Nando's I wasn't very keen at all. However, my friend asked me to go with her one day so I thought I would give it another try and now it is rapidly becoming one of my favourite places to eat!
