...I am very grateful to the existence of sites like Ciao (and Dooyoo - I'm a double agent) for many reasons. Firstly, it gives me the ability to sharpen up my writing techniques with an audience who are there to be fair. If they don't like your comments, they say so. And more importantly for us egomaniacs, if they like what you have to say, they'll tell you that too. That to me is probably a bigger reward than that of the money in someways. It lets me know how various styles work out, whether controversial opinions are written sensitively and if the information provided is of any real help. ...~ ~ When you mention the word “rewards” then the first thought that springs into peoples head is money. ~ ~ It is true to say that if you are a consistent and good contributor to Ciao, then you will reap your just reward in money earned. But if you are a member of Ciao on the lookout for a “quick buck” or some sort of “get rich quick” scheme, then you are in for a nasty disappointment. One thing is certain in this world, and that is that you will get “nothing for nothing”. We are all pretty much here because we enjoy writing opinions and reading other peoples opinions, and the money is an added bonus ! So whats this got to do with the Rewards At CIAO????? Well the biggest reward I get from this site is knowing that people value my opinions! I couldnt believe that had qualified for some of the Premium Fund!! I didnt even care how much money it had earned me either, I was just really over the moon to have acheived something for once. I know I was getting really annoyed with this site for its technical difficulties and everything else thats been going on, but the truth of the matter is I really missed writing on this site. I know all about getting paid for your readings 2p per read, 10p per write etc...

The rewards are high and not just money either

...The rewards of Ciao? Are they all financial? I don’t think so – consider the evidence when compared to the main rival Dooyoo…… OK then let’s get the money out of the way first. As you must know if you are reading this opinion Ciao pays out 10p for every opinion written and 2p every time that opinion is read. Add to this the 30% of any earnings of referred members and you’ve got yourself a nice little earner. I grant you this is not to be seen as a way of earning a living, more a bonus for doing something that is both enjoyable and informative to your fellow man (or woman!) Dooyoo on the other hand pay out in ‘miles’ – heaven knows why but there it is. You get 100 miles for a write and 50 miles for a read, which equates to 10p per write and 5p per read. ...I wonder why it is that despite the fact that this is meant to be a site to inform potential consumers of products, some of the opinions which are read the most are those relating to ciao - and these are read by ciao members, who are unlikely to need product information! As rewarding as a kick in the face sometimes but..

Advantages: Something to do for a bored housewife that doesn't involve 'Readers Wives' ;o)
