...Rick is a modernised adaptation of Verdi?s ?Rigoletto? opera. I did not know this before seeing it. It doesn?t really make that much difference to me afterwards either as I?m not familiar with Rigoletto. That said though, it is still useful to know this going into Rick, as it makes the kind of absurdist twists you?d only usually find in an opera easier to accept. Without this, the film does at times seem a little ridiculous. It?s still all very enjoyable, save one vital plot point, and upon reflection, it does make sense. Our titular protagonist is Rick (Bill Pullman), an annoying kind of man you could only really find in the corporate world. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead

...I went to Rick's cafe in November as a passing stop when I was in Jamaica on a work trip. I thought it would be a good idea to stop by to see the place as I had heard lots about it! Where is it? Ricks cafe is located in Negril on West end road and is located on a cliff side spot so that visitors can enjoy food and drink by the sea. What is it? It is a cafe/bar type place that serves food, drink and also has a shop on site along with a small swimming pool and access to the sea from the cliff.
