...This has got to be one of the best cameras I have ever used. It has so many easy to use features and is especially ideal for those with little or no camera experience. This camera is ideal for taking pictures of everyday life, and I have found it is especially good at taking close up pictures of family and for days out. It is so compact and the accessories available are compact too. Compared to my other camera Canon EOS300D, this actually does better photos and better quality pictures. There are also many little extras and I especially like the small compact tripod for night pictures etc since it is foldable to approx 5 inches long and comparable to carrying a couple of biros. Overall a five star product, nicely designed and at a great price. Well recommended...

....1x optical zoom is a lot more than 3x or 4x which is standard in most other digital camers these days. This is because it allows you to take pictures of images very far away which you would have to move much closer to with a camera with only 3x or 4x times digital zoom. Another point is that this camera is very easy to use, and desptie the large range of functions and features this camera has, It is very easy to use them and I have only had to consult the guide manual on very few occasions. The camera also has a very nice look to it and is also very slim, the same thickness as most other digital cameras. The 2.5" tft screen is also very useful and is large enough for you to be able to take very precise and accurate shots as well as being able to use the colour balancing features to the greatest effect. ...With the SP C222DN, Ricoh has entered the market of low cost color laser printers. However with the cutting of post, the quality has also gone down. The print performs decently but not up to the mark. The problems start as soon as you begin the installation process. There is a huge guide which has all the necessary details. The instructions are pretty clear. At first, you are asked to move to the -'Software Installation guide' for network connection. You are supposed to get the next set of instructions here, however these instructions are difficult to understand and inadequate. Some very important steps and key points are missing. Along with the printer, you get a CD which contains details about the USB installation. This make things tough as the USB details are only in the CD and thus not easily available. Learning with Ricoh

...for constant battery charging and replacing that make digitals annoying when you spot something that demands a photograph right away. I've used all kinds of 35mm film in the Ricoh and have a preference for bulk Ektachrome, rolled on in small quantities. Producing one's own slides from such film in a little developing tank, gives an insight to the photographic process that is a learning curve all of its own. The camera is heavy by modern standards - but just convince yourself that weight is quality in this type of situation.! It has the usual facility for tripods, and flash, and all the range of colour and special effects filters. This is the system that allows for real creativity - not just standard digital alteration. I use the digital snappers very happily - see review on FujiPix 610 - but that Ricoh was photography as real art.!...

...The first thing many readers will think when looking at this review is "oh my god" how ugly is that camera?", and possibly as a secondary thought, "who the hell are Ricoh, didn't he once manage Arsenal?". The answers to these questions are so obviously yes, it is a ugly mother of a camera and no, that was Bruce Rioch, but I stray from the subject matter so on with my thoughts on the camera. Cost & Availability: I will admit here, I don't own the Ricoh Caplio R6, but I have used it regularly now for over 4 months both larking around and while giving serious demonstrations to the potential buyers. More often than not the price is a big turn off with most customers. ...Chanel No. 5 will always remain a controversial perfume. Although used and praised for decades it's still a love or hate fragrance. I think it's because of aldehydes, the most important constituents of this fragrance. They possess a waxy, fatty smell that often makes think on washed and dried clothe. Aldehydes are found in nature (for example in a citrus peel), but never in amounts used in Chanel No. 5. That makes this smell a bit unnatural from one side, but it also gives an interesting exotic twist. In my opinion EDP is much softer than EDT version - the aldehydes are less sharp and the floral bouquet is more prominent. On my skin it starts with a fresh citrus note that slightly fades into a floral hart of orange blossom, rose and jasmine.
