Advantages: handy size packaging, affordable, easy to blend
Disadvantages: runny, hard to remove any excess, hard to match colour

...Not my usual choice of foundation, this was on a special offer in Boots and I wasintrigued by the 'illumination' that it was offering so I decided to give this a try. The price was pretty good, as foundations go, and I have tried other Rimmel products in the past and had found them to be of good quality. Firstly, I found that the colour advertised on the packaging did not quite reflect the colour when applied, it was easy enough to blend but a little seemed to go a long way and I found it hard to remove any excess once applied, without starting again from scratch. I also felt the the foundation was overly runny in texture and did not last very well throughout the day. The 'illumination' was achieved by some kind of sparkle in the foundation - if you applied this with your fingers it was very noticeable on your hands...

Rimmel Volume Flash Mascara

Advantages: Easy to apply, Long Lasting and Waterproof.
Disadvantages: None..

...I found that Rimmel Mascara was very easy to apply with the brush. I found that the mascara lasted all day, without the need for reapplication although i did apply two coats in the morning. I thought it was reasonably priced compared to some of the other mascaras available in the shops, very good value for money. I thought that the product made my eyes look larger and my eyelashes look fuller. The product does claim to be waterproof although i personally thought that it had smudged a little after an hour in the gym. The jet black mascara did not feel to heavy on my eyes. I would recommend this product to my friends. The choice of colours was limited to black although i would have bought the mascara in brown and blue also had it been available....

...Rimmel London's I love lasting finish nail varnish comes in 13 shades and is touted as a long lasting hard wearing chip resistant varnish. Wellll not quite....! The colour range is decent enough, not spectactular but there are a few cool colours in there - I bought Black Cherries which is a cross between a burgundy and purple colour. The actual shade itself is awesome and although I usually wear two coats, one is actually enough for a rich colour.
