THE RING.

Advantages: A read when you want something easy to digest.
Disadvantages: Flawed by Perfectionism.

...Over the years I have read many Danielle Steel books, simply to see what people were talking about. The lady is a successful writer and certainly makes a good living out of it, although as a writer myself, I was anxious to see the reasons for her success. THE BOOK This is a paperback available easily from Amazon and I was amazed this morning that there are actually 401 second hand copies available for as little as a penny. The cover gives itself away as Danielle Steel has a stylised way of presenting her books with her name in bold capitals, pictures of the heriones of the story, who are almost always whispy and beautiful, and the name of the book. Advantages: Great family board game
Disadvantages: Not for the very young, a little complicated to set up

...but it is not a conventional six sided numbered die, in the game the dice covered in different symbols is use to determine the outcome or consequences of the activity tiles. Failure to complete the scenario will usually mean that the hobbits and Sauron come closer together on the Master board and once a hobbits meets or is corrupted by Sauron on this board the player is eliminated from the game if the ring bearer is corrupted by Sauron the game ends. At any time if they have gathered enough 'shields' on the way the hobbits can call upon Gandalf for help up to a maximum of five times but even this help comes a accost and so has to be used wisely. Using strategy the players have to co-operate to move across the scenarios and keep Sauron as far away as possible from getting the ring. All through the game the players have to consult...

Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring

Advantages: Film making genius
Disadvantages: some might find it a bit long

Pursued by the genuinely creepy Black Riders, Frodos journey to Rivendell feels like a race that picks up pace as the first half goes on, with only a few stops for breath. Touching on racial and class differences as well as burgeoning ambition and different agendas, the internal struggles of the Fellowship present as much a danger to Frodo and the Ring as the evil forces that hunt them.   Bored of the Rings Too

Up Up and Away!

Advantages: Amazing characters, fabulous storyline, hillarious & Emotional at the same time!
Disadvantages: It's not out on DVD yet so I have to wait a few months before I can watch it again!

Tesco Breaded Onion Rings

Advantages: Taste pretty good, good value for money

...One of my favourite tea-time meals has to be steak and chips with mushrooms, onion rings and peas on the side! Mmmm lovely! Its a meal we enjoy regularly at home and I always buy Tescos own branded Breaded Onion Rings to accompany my steak and chips. ~The Product~ Each Onion ring is around 2.5" in diameter with a hollow centre. It is basically a circular ring of onion which has been coated in breadcrumbs, then lightly fried. I am not a huge onion fan in general but I like these as you get a nice taste of the onion, but without it being too strong or overpowering. The breadcrumbs give a nice crunchy exterior to the onion ring when cooked properly and the two textures of the soft onion inside the crunchy coating really compliment each other well.
