MY LITTLE BEAUTY

Advantages: Instantaneous results, youthful, radiant, vibrant skin
Disadvantages: The price and perhaps the packaging

...Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. So what has caused the cynic in me to disappear? My in laws gave me a birthday present that is a pretty little pink box containing a number of Clarin's trial size products. It was in this little box that my miracle beauty product lurked, untried and untested by myself until about two weeks ago, largely because I hadn't bothered to read the leaflet and wasn't quite sure what it was for. I am, of course, talking about Clarin's "Baume Beaute Éclair" or more commonly known as "Beauty-Flash Balm" (BFB). Escada Rockin' Rio!

Advantages: Pretty smell, different from the rest!
Disadvantages: Not as strong as the rest so doesn't stay for as long!

...once again feel like Escada were trying to make this perfume different than the others! In Conclusion Rockin? Rio is a beautiful perfume, but is more for daytime use than night time, and not one I would purposefully pick up in a shop to buy again, although the smell is gorgeous as all the Escada perfumes are, it is too light for me and although that means it doesn?t over power everything, it also means you have to keep putting it on throughout the day to keep the smell there! On average the perfume costs around £35 a bottle (this is for a 30ml bottle), which is quite expensive really for a small bottle of perfume. And currently the perfume is not on Ebay. All in all, I would give this perfume a 7/10....

Find Redemption in Rio

Advantages: Breathtaking views over a sprawling, stunning city.
Disadvantages: Can be very crowded.

...I was given a tube of this 'wonder cream' as a Christmas present from my in-laws just last Christmas. It sat inside my dressing table drawer until about three weeks ago, still in its original box/packaging etc, unused. I don't know why it's taken me so long to open the box and read the 'instructions leaflet' and actually use the stuff - maybe I was having a 'premonition' about it?? I have to say, Clairins Beauty Flash Balm, or, as it states in the French (also on the packaging/tube) "Baume Beaute Eclair" has been probably THE most disappointing beauty product I have used, EVER!! I've used a lot during my years, but this stuff does not live up to the hype, so don't waste your money. Understanding A Beautiful Mind.
