Find Redemption in Rio

Advantages: Breathtaking views over a sprawling, stunning city.
Disadvantages: Can be very crowded.

McNally's off to Rio Lobo

Advantages: some good acting, OK story, great music

...Rio Lobo sees John Wayne paying the role of Colonel McNally who is working on the trains during the civil war. He is sending a train load of gold to another town but it is robbed and he has to set about trying to find the culprits. Much to McNally?s disappointment he is captured by the enemy and he has to lead them to safety but before long the roles are reversed and McNally has them as prisoners of war. The two prisoners are immediately set free though as word comes of the end of the war. McNally with the help of his now two uncovers information on the train robbers and sets about finding them. MY LITTLE BEAUTY

...Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. So what has caused the cynic in me to disappear? My in laws gave me a birthday present that is a pretty little pink box containing a number of Clarin's trial size products. We had planned to go and take a few more photos as the crowds had thinned to one or two people now but the rest of the group had decided they wanted to go back down on an earlier train as they had seen it all. Understanding A Beautiful Mind.

Advantages: An excellent award winning drama, based on a true story.

...My Reason For Purchasing A Beautiful Mind DVD. I wrote this review a year or so ago for another review site which has since closed. I thought I would upload it here as A Beautiful Mind is one of my favourite Drama films ever and I just wanted to recommend it and give some opinions on it. There is quite a few reviews already about it, but I just wanted to give my two cents worth also. A Beautiful mind is one of my favourite Russell Crowe Movies. ...it looked nice on the outside the interior was quite cheap looking, covered in walnut dash and plastic accessories. It really wasn't the car I thought it was and it wasn't the car for me. I also looked at an Astra, a nice car, a far superior interior to the 45, but for the money I had it would have been an older car than I really wanted. Then, my boyfriend's dad suggested that I tried our local Kia Garage. I took my boyfriend and had a look, my eye was immediately caught by the Rio they had on display, it was cheap, it was only two years old and it looked nice from all angles. I took the car for a test drive, the staff were wonderfully helpful. Blame it on Rio

Advantages: Spectacular, exciting and perfect for budget travellers.
Disadvantages: Is that a knife in your pocket or are you just trying to rob me?

If reggae is not your thing then you can marvel at the foot volleyball that often defies description with skill levels not yet dreamed about back home. Ipanema (you know the song 'Girl from Ipanema') is a swanky suburb that boasts a better beach than Copacabana and a more laid back atmosphere. It also feels safer which means that on weekends every grain of sand hosts a different soul. The beach is divided up by different lifeguard posts. Posta No 9 is where the beautiful people (or at least the people who think they are beautiful) hang, just down from it Rio's gay population comes out to play (complete with Rainbow flag) and a bit further down you'll get high as the hippies fill their pipes with the sort of stuff the Happy Mondays craved for years...
