Advantages: Easy to use controls, Compact size, nice silver finish, Good picture quality
Disadvantages: Small viewfinder

.... The camera has a powerful flash with good range and exposure when used. Also has red eye reduction with self timer. The camera has a silent rewind button when film has reached the end - useful if your in a quiet place. The zoom range is good from 38-115mm enough to bring distant objects close. The camera feels comfortable to hold and the controls that are needed the most like zooming in/out and shutter release button are close at hand. The only drawbacks i found with this camera is the small viewfinder. I personally found it very small for a 35mm zoom camera and i don't wear glasses!! You have to squint at times to take good photo. Also i wish the camera had date/time print facility that enables you to print the date/time on photo when picture was taken. But if you don't mind the small viewfinder i think this camera would be a good...

The Minolta Riva Zoom 130

Advantages: Superb Features, Good Design, Durable
Disadvantages: Can take a while for a photo to be taken

...-framing guide + 130mm zoom - Could have more features if we were to be greedy! - The camera can take a while for a photo to be taken but this is due to the camera focusing. All of the functions perform well and the landscape view is particularly useful although a tripod is recommended! PHOTO QUALITY: + All of the photos i have received i have been more than happy with the quality of the photo. OTHER: + Good instruction manual + Great looking camera + Mine came with a free case, film and two batteries! + Great value, i got mine for a bargain £80! This is the car made from scrap sardine cans, yet can run on Vodka, that is because, of course, it is Russian made! Despite promising the potential to earn rewards and cash through ZoomPoints, the first 10 or 11 surveys they offered me only qualified me for entry into a sweepstake or prize draw. I'm afraid that I very swiftly pull the plug on any survey company only offering entries into prize draws, as in over 2 years of survey work, I have yet to win anything from any survey company prize draw or raffle. I fail to see why I should spend my valuable time completing a survey for which I get little or no reward, when you can bet your bottom dollar the company hosting it is being handsomely rewarded. ...for the flash NOT to go off was a deciding factor. The extra wide-angle facility was another deciding factor, but wider angles and closer zooms are more widely available now. There is a macro feature which allows you to take extreme close-ups with a nicely blurred background (would the more technically-minded of you call that a narrow depth-of-field? I dunno). This is a great feature when the camera will let you use it. If the camera decides that the lighting is not adequate, or the focus not matching the distance of the object being photographed, it simply will not let you take the picture. I like to feel that I have more control over a camera than this, even if it DOES mean I take a substandard picture!! Zoom Panel Paid Surveys...

Advantages: Regular surveys sent, award 10 points for attempting a survey, Marriott vouchers
Disadvantages: Few points per survey making 1000 points a high payout, limited reward scheme

...I joined Zoom Panel mid last year 2008 while I was looking for paid survey sites to try out. I signed up free and started to receive email notifications soon after for new surveys to complete. Zoom Panel sends regular surveys and think I was averaging 3 or 4 a week. You're awarded 'zoom points' for each survey you complete and these can later be redeemed... Unfortunately, their notification emails do not inform how many points you will get or how long the survey will be prior to you taking it. You get about 75 - 100 points per survey and if you do not qualify for a survey, you get 10 Zoom Points for attempting it.. Zoom Panel would be great but they really need to evaluate their reward system... Unless there is another Zoom Panel out there that has a better one - this Zoom Panel has a rather limited reward system that makes it seem...
