...I recently started a Diploma in Canine Massage and in order to start this course, I needed to travel to Devon and attend a workshop. I also needed to take one of my dogs with me so I set out in a mission to find a hotel or B & B that would allow me to have my dog stay with me. The Riverside Inn was recommended to me by the tutor that runs the course (as the course is actually held in their function room) and they also allow dogs to stay in the rooms. So I booked my stay and headed off on my long drive to Devon? Cost I booked myself into a single room which cost me £45 a night. This price also included a full English breakfast. As I already mentioned, I had my dog Dax staying with me and I had to pay another £5 per night for him to be in the room. The Room Upon first entering my room, I was actually really impressed...

Advantages: Near City Centre, Good value for money, River view
Disadvantages: On a busy road

...The Riverside Court Hotel is situated just outside Sheffield City Centre within a few minutes walk of the main markets and one of the main Shopping areas of the City. It occupies a prominent position on the corner of Nursery Street, where it meets the Wicker. Historically the Wicker is an area of the City that was once a thriving part of Sheffield with lots of Shops and Businesses. Today it is rather run down, although improvements are currently underway, and most of the businesses in this area are now take aways and other fast food outlets. The Riverside Court Hotel actually occupies quite an enviable location at the top end of the Wicker. A fantastic place for a break.

...Riverside Lodges are located in Ripon, North Yorkshire. I came across this place while browsing through the Hoseasons brochure looking for somewhere to go for a short break for my partner's birthday. As I have stayed at various places featured in the Hoseasons brochure before, I felt confident booking a holiday from their brochure, as all my experiences have been of fabulous accomodation in often very beautiful settings. ...This is the worst place to est in Norwich, and one I would highly recommend avoiding. I ended up in this, so called American Italian Restaurant on a last minute whim. I met my girlfriend after work for a few drinks around xmas time. The beer was flowing, and as always, the munchies crept in. Whilst walking home we strolled along the Wensum down Riverside road. The further we walked the hungrier we got. Niether of us could be bothered to cook and as we neard Frankie and Bennys we saw the luminous lights, the 'happy eaters' and the nice looking atmosphere. Neither of us had ever been to one before, so we thought it would be worth a look. Being a Wednesday night it was easy to get a table, without booking. ...Riverside Caravan Park is a mixture of touring and static caravans - both private and to hire - that is situated on the Lune Estuary between Morecambe and Lancaster in Lancashire. I have used this site - both with a tourer and hiring a static - for over fifteen years. The owners - Linda and Allan Proctor, work hard to keep the site clean and attractive.There are still peopl with their touring caravans on the site that used it when we started using it fifteen years ago - which must be a good endorsement for the site. The season for the site is - touring caravans open from March till the end of October, and static caravans for hire and privately owned holiday homes open 11 months of the year. ...I stayed in the Montien Riverside Hotel in Bangkok back in 2006. It has probably changed a little now but, all the same the information I can give will be useful to anybody thinking about staying there. The nightly rate at the moment starts at approximately £60 per room per night for a superior room type. The location: The hotel is set on the edge of the Chao Phraya river which is the huge river that runs through the city of Bangkok. It is a bit out from the main shopping areas and the main hub of the nightlife but, it has a stunning river location so obviously if you want this type of location then it is to be expected that you wouldn't be on top of other attractions. Overall though it only takes takes 10 minutes to get to Bangkok's main area for shopping and nightlife so not very far at all. The hotel has been built on ground...

Great cuisine in little backwater

Advantages: Great food and can combine dining with a ticket for the cinema
Disadvantages: Can get quite crowded

...I quite enjoy going to different places to eat and the Riverside restaurant in Woodbridge is certainly different. It is part of a little complex that includes the Riverside Theatre (a small local cinema) so you can, if you wish, combine your meal with a ticket to watch the latest film. I recently went there with a local dining group and our party were just booked in for a meal without the cinema option. There is ample car parking nearby as the Restaurant adjoins the local railway station with its car park which is generally little used in the evenings. The only time it is tricky to park is if the cinema is showing a very popular film which has attracted a large viewing audience. On the night we were the cinema was showing Spiderman 3 so the car park was busy but it was still possible to find spaces. Woodbridge is a lovely town...
