Advantages: Fine acting, rich character study, different plot strands nicely put together
Disadvantages: Lack of action, adventure and ultimately, fun. And if you're being pedantic, Crowe's accent
...Robin Hood - the man, the legend, the archer, the leader of Sherwood Forest, Maid Marian's boyfriend etc. These are the images we are familiar with thanks to the many adaptations of the heroic outlaw. But be warned: Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" decides to tell the story from the very beginning, so of the many things listed above, the only aspect of Robin (Russell Crowe) you'll see is "the man...

Erm....... Robin Hood????
Advantages: Great story, acting, effects, action and scenery
Disadvantages: Not worthy of the Robin Hood title as is it not the story we all know
...way to Nottingham to return the sword but once here he receives a proposition from Sir Walter Loxley that seems too good to be true. Will Robin accept this offer and just how can England survive now King John has imposed taxes and he has a traitor in his camp?
I was so looking forward to seeing this film to see the new take on the old classic film but I have to say all I knew about the Robin Hood...
