I purchased this particular product from my local Boots store after receiving a coupon for £5 towards branded facial products-including the ROC range. Advantages: Nice light non greasy formula

...Ladies (and Gents), the future is here and it's in the form of RoC Protinent which really does do what it says on the bottle. I confess to be fanatical about skin care (my mum taught me well) and over the years have tried just about every product that we are bombarded with daily. Some of them are pretty good but generally you find that one or two fibs are told in order to entice those amongst us who are eagerly searching for that magic product that will give us the appearance of having stepped back 5 years in time or spent huge amounts of cash on cosmetic procedures. Whilst RoC Protinent is not technically a skin care product, I feel comfortable in putting it into that category as it really should be used as part of our daily skin care regime. ...The important thing about RoC Retin-Ox Correctiom (in fact, all RoC products) is perseverence. No one should reasonably expect instant results, but we do unfortunately live in a society where instant gratification is not soon enough. I have been using this particular RoC product, along with the rest of the face care range, for over 5 years and I will never consider using another product. It took about 3 months before I began to notice some improvements and it has without doubt not only slowed down the wrinkly process that is inevitable with age, it has improved my skin. My sister lives in Australia and I see her once a year. On her last visit she was convinced I had had a face lift since last seeing her (she is unable to buy Roc in Oz so I post it to her). ...Facial wipes are best used in moderation, for these times when you come back in the early hours but are still conscious enough to remember that cleansing is a primordial and unavoidable beauty ritual. I always keep a packet of them for these lazy times when the whole tone/cleanse/moisturise is just too much to cope with... So the last packet I had happened to be form Roc; this is because I trust this brand, and more important, they had been reduced to something like £3.00 in Superdrug form a more forbidding £4.99. They come in the customary plastic packaging, with an ultra sticky bit of selotape to clos it securely ( very important as the wipes can dry up very fast ). Ignore the hype - RoC does not keep its promises

...Having seen the hyped up ad on the t.v. about the new wonder skin care range from RoC that promises to make you look ten years younger and wrinkle free I decided to investigate further - there's always one isn't there? Boots had a great deal on - buy two get one free on a whole range of products including the Retin-OX Correxion products which made me think I was getting something of a bargain hence I ended up with three tubes of the cream, night, day and an extra day one for luck. My first reaction to using the day cream was that it took a long time for the cream to sink in. The night cream smelled like urine on first sniff and didn't blend at all well. Roc Hydra & Tined Moisturiser

Advantages: Reputable brand, , unscented, non-greasy & easily absorbed
Disadvantages: The price & difficult to match skin colour

...I started using Roc products a few years ago when I was lucky enough to be offered a job at one of the Johnson & Johnson divisions. One major bonus - Johnson & Johnson products at majorly discounted prices in the staff shop! I have to say I paid about £5.00 for this 40ml tube and its totally worth it at that price and you could probably find it at around the same price down your local market. After all, its by a reputable brand and where else could you find a quality moisturiser and foundation in one for much less. However, it retails somewhere between £14.99 and £19.99 and at these prices I think its a bit pricey for what you get & there's many quality brands you could buy for far less. Anyway, so what is it?
