Vivienne Westwood's 'Let It Rock' - A modern classic?

Advantages: Lasts longer than most perfumes
Disadvantages: Can be hard to find on the High Street

...I first bought this perfume after having Vivienne Westwoods 'Boudoir' and loving that. With 'Let It Rock', Vivienne Westwood delivers another aromatic scent in her signature styled bottle. For me, this has a sweet woody aroma - patchouli and freesia spring to mind and has the deep heady hit like Westwoods 'Boudoir' perfume. It's got a very Autumnal feel to it, mellow and sweet. This is one of my favourite perfumes for going out as is lasts without fading so the bottle lasts ages. The bottle features Vivienne Westwood's orb and also iridescent glass. I'm glad this comes in a gift package also, as this is a really well presented perfume and body lotion set. I also think 'Let It Rock' has a wide appeal, not only to younger consumers as it's a mature and sophisticated scent. One word of warning though, be prepared to wear this all...

It's only rock and roll, but you'll like it!

Advantages: Excellent Soundtrack - 70 songs to rock out to. Addictive as anything you'll play.

Stick It To The Man!! - School of Rock

Disadvantages: Bit unrealistic, although not really a disadvantage.

...On a rare occasion that we did a family weekend away we ended up in London and now that me and my brother were 'grown up' finding things to please both of us, plus my mum and Dad were hard. Both me and my mum enjoy theatre and had seen a few things in London, my Dad and brother wouldn't say that they really enjoyed theatre but this seemed the best option for something we could all enjoy and so we decided on We Will Rock You. ...I've only just recently bought this dvd on recommendation from a friend, so you might think my review is a bit belated. I couldn't help myself though, this film really is infectious. Being an avid rock fan I was hooked from the start anyway. I wasn't sure what to expect from a film that is in it's entirity meant to be aimed at youngsters. I thought this was a comical and well-presented portrayal of an original story, based on the Battle of the Bands comp that you get in colleges/uni's all over the country.
