Bottle Rocket

Advantages: Good dialogue, good acting, interesting story
Disadvantages: Is a bit of a slow moving story

...Seeing how I think I did ok reviewing another of Wes Andersons movies I figured I might as well have a go at reviewing the others I've seen as well, so I figured I'd start with Bottle Rocket, as thats the first film that Wes directed and its also the first film that Owen and Luke Wilson and Bob Musgrave starred in too, the start of good things to come! This movie I believe was written while Owen (and Luke(?)) and Wes were at university together in Texas in the 1990s and is now seen as a cult comedy hit. Bottle Rocket is all about three friends who team up to escape their boring lifes and pursuit a life of petty crime. This eventually leads to the local criminal 'head honcho' who's played by James Caan, spotting them and convincing them to carry out a large heist - but is it too much for them to handle and will they get away with it...

Scone Shoes

Advantages: comfortable, better fitting shoes at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: limited range, most of them are quite ugly

When I first ordered shoes from the Shoe Tailor, experts in wider-fitting shoes, I measured my feet incorrectly and found that the only shoes in their catalogue that would fit me were their widest, ugliest, most orthopaedic, brown, granny shoes: the type you might wear to go out with your friends for a scone, in your later years. Dancing shoes on

Advantages: well thought out characters and a nice story

...I first read Ballet Shoes when I was eight. It was the first of Noel Streatfield's books I'd read, and it remains my favourite. I put it away during my teenage years and forgot about it until Christmas 2007 when I watched the BBC adaptation with Emma Watson. I went to Indonesia and got the film on knock-off DVD, and immediately after watching I rang home to get my parents to order me a copy. It was a great welcome home. The book opens with 'Garnie' moving into a huge mansion, filled with fossils. She and her nurse (Nana) are moving in with her uncle. You don't really get any of their story until one day her uncle Matthew arrives home from a trip with a package, containing of all things... a baby! They agree to take the baby and name her Pauline. Advantages: Cool helmet
Disadvantages: Weak cast, slightly duff story

...at a story but it never seems really grand enough and does suffer from having weak characters. Maybe not as bad as a lot of people would have you think and if you're a fan of the 30's serial King of The Rocket Men then you might get something out of it. Watchable if it's on and it's raining outside but don't make any special effort to see it...

...As some of you may already be aware, the way to my heart is with handbags and shoes. Large cash deposits are also much appreciated but don?t come along all that often. As far as shoes are concerned, I like pretty shoes, generally with sparkly bits and, ideally, bows. Albie and the Space Rocket

Advantages: Great fun read for children

...Albie and the Space Rocket is a book which my boys love to read. THE STORY The story begins with Albie being tucked up in bed and sleeping when something suddenly takes his bed away from him. He goes downstairs to investigate. In the downstairs toilet he finds two moose dancing the tango but no toilet. Albie then goes into the kitchen where he finds a zebra who has a cupboard full of his zebra friends. Albie continues to search for his missing bed, he looks in the cupboard under the stairs, behind the shower curtain and then he goes into the last room where he finds a heard of quivering elephants. In this room he finds a 'super-duper, intergalactic space rocket which has been made out of his bed, the cooker and the downstairs toilet! The elephants tell Albie that he cant have the things back as the rocket is almost ready...

Green Wellie Shoes

Advantages: Dry feet
Disadvantages: None I have found yet

...resembled a meadow! It was also very wet. We have three areas of grass in our garden (lawns) and two were in dire need of cutting. For the first time this year I managed this without getting thoroughly wet feet. I have to also say that my feet were so comfortable that I quite forgot that I was wearing my new shoes. I quite expected that my feet would get very warm but did not find this a problem. As they are shoes, you don't feel as restricted as you would in Wellington Boots either and they are much easier to get on and off. They are also the shoes I reach for when I take the dog out first thing in the morning. They are easy to clean - a quick wipe with a damp cloth will suffice. All in all, I consider that they were a very good buy. I paid £8.99 for them in Focus Do It All - although I have seen similar ones for much more...

...In Her Shoes had been on my to-buy DVD list for some time , and so while I was passing through Woolworths one day , I noticed it was on sale for £5. So I bought it. In Her Shoes stars Cameron Diaz , Toni Collette and Shirley Maclaine. The dvd features a blonde Cameron Diaz in jeans and a revealing green top , sitting on a sofa and facing sideways , giving the camera a flirtatious pose. By her side is Toni Collette sitting with her legs cross on the same sofa , wearing a black suit , messy hair. There is a dog to her right , with a pair of shoes in it's mouth. Shoes, shoes, shoes....wahahaha!

Advantages: lots of cheap, high quality shoes!
Disadvantages: customer service not great!
