...Rockford (James Garner) is a private investigator who lives and works from his beach trailer in LA. A likeable ex-con Rockford often skirts on the edges of the law to ensure that he gets his $200 a day (plus expenses) to solve all kinds of mysteries/crimes from fraud and kidnappings to suspicious deaths and robberies, he has a quarter page advertisement in the paper and the show often starts with an answer machine message that usually has nothing to do with the show that is about to start, and he drives a gold Pontiac Firebird. I think as with all shows of the genre (even with modern shows, but more so back then) that the attraction is the "how" and by that I mean how the cop/detective gets his man, Columbo used to be great at this, with Peter Falk coming across as a scruffy, almost slow witted kind of guy, but we all know that the "let me...

Good MP3/CD player, smart appearance

Advantages: Good CD/MP3 sound quality; looks smart
Disadvantages: Slightly "cheap" quality; clips 1st second of MP3s; relatively expensive

...annoying. Ease of use The control panel is generally intuitive and easy to use, following general conventional interface design. Unlike many in-car players, there are ten numbered preset buttons, although the presets 7-0 are accessed via a "shift"-style button, these buttons having other purposes otherwise. In addition, most of the buttons have a different action depending on whether you briefly press them, or hold the button down. Recommendation? I would have recommended this to potential buyers at the time I bought it, but this model is no longer available new. Also, there are now units that support other formats, such as WMA, and DVDs for additional storage. I would still recommend Rockford Fosgate as a brand to consider. Their products are generally a bit more expensive, but overall I am pleased...

Car chases, fisty-cuffs, flashy cars, skin-tight trousers...

...The Rockford Files is a classic comedy drama TV series from the 1970's, set in the United States, and starring the terrific James Garner as Jim Rockford, a witty, charming, wise-cracking, ex-con (for a crime he didn't commit), turned PI. There were about six series in all, and a few movies too. The series is set in Malibu, where Rockford lives in a mobile home on the beach (can't be bad!). Each episde begins with the camera panning across Rockford's desk, and we hear the familiar sound of his telephone, followed by a humourous answerphone message which is different in each episode. ...manufacturers of car audio systems. I have definitly enjoyed my Punch sound system! UPDATE When I said that I think my car will fall apart...I have 3 new rattles in it now.It's still a great system though! And I should've pointed out that Punch equiptment is actually made by the all well known Rockford Fosgate! So if anyone would like to check it out you will have to go to the Rockford Fosgate site!...

Can you see me, no i've gone just too fast.

Advantages: FAST very fast, thrilling, not overly priced compared to other sporty cars capable of such speeds, beautiful.
Disadvantages: insurance is just wrong !!!

...When my boss came to me and said he was thinking of buying a new car and asked me which of his choices i thought, i new full well which it was to be. The EVO !!! The big day came and he went to pick it up, i was excited and i wasn't even buying the bloody thing! I heard a faint rumble coming from outside and i looked and there was the glistening silver EVO 6 GSR parked infront of the window. It is a very mean looking car with a massive front squared valance, lasrge air vents and grills on the bonnet, deep flowing side sills, and the biggest rear spoiler you could imagine on a car. The inside is quite bland really considdering the money you pay for the car, mass expanse of black dash board plasticky in looks, it does however have air conditioning, climate control, bucket seats, and a rockford fosgate stereo/cd ICE system...

I purchased the goods for $275 plus $60 shipping to the UK. As I could not use Paypal (online payments service see later) I had to pay £16 for a foreign draft, plus 65p for posting and 10 pence for an envelope. Once the amp is imported I have to pay the VAT element bringing the total cost...

...The kenwood DB+ is an attractive sub, it has everything that you would want from a car sub, the looks, the power claim, and the trusted name brand. However the one thing that the kenwood db+ fails on is perhaps the most important thing of all, gut werenching bass. Most people are like me and buy a subwoofer for their car because they want thumping bass blasting out as they drive. If this is what you are after then this sub isnt for you. it has a max power claim of 1000 watts and dont get me wrong it is a loud sub. but there is just something missing. it seems to distort alot on low bass notes when the volume is up. I know you may be saying, 'well thats your amp,' but it isnt because i rana rockford off the same amp and it only had a power claim of 400 watts and it was twice the strength. it is all around not a bad sub, but i would not...

At the store they don?t just sell clothes as they have; a shoe section, home ware section and has both mensware ladiesware and childrensware. Within the sections are accessories in which you can buy hats, gloves, wallets, CD holders, watches, be lts etc. The good thing is that each week TK Maxx gets a restock of 1000 items. ...inlisting some unexpected help. This sort of movie is seldom seen nowadays, especially when it stars a difficult to comprehend lead actor. And I really cannot emphasise on this enough we are talking about an actor who was cheesy in The Rockford Files, wacky in 3 Men & A Baby, and just ridiculous in Quigley Down Under; now we are being offered him in a brutally serious role. An Innocent Man is one of those movies that you will remember long after you have seen it, while bits become foggy and in your mind every minute he is in prison is remembered; its just so incredibly brutal especially the vicious gang rape scene and we are talking a massive gang this proves the case less is more, and what you see briefly is far too much. An Innocent Man retails for around £5.99 and has no special features, trailers etc. Its also currently showing...
