...Rockford (James Garner) is a private investigator who lives and works from his beach trailer in LA. A likeable ex-con Rockford often skirts on the edges of the law to ensure that he gets his $200 a day (plus expenses) to solve all kinds of mysteries/crimes from fraud and kidnappings to suspicious deaths and robberies, he has a quarter page advertisement in the paper and the show often starts with an answer machine message that usually has nothing to do with the show that is about to start, and he drives a gold Pontiac Firebird. Good MP3/CD player, smart appearance

Advantages: Good CD/MP3 sound quality; looks smart
Disadvantages: Slightly "cheap" quality; clips 1st second of MP3s; relatively expensive

...annoying. Ease of use The control panel is generally intuitive and easy to use, following general conventional interface design. Unlike many in-car players, there are ten numbered preset buttons, although the presets 7-0 are accessed via a "shift"-style button, these buttons having other purposes otherwise. In addition, most of the buttons have a different action depending on whether you briefly press them, or hold the button down. Recommendation? I would have recommended this to potential buyers at the time I bought it, but this model is no longer available new. Also, there are now units that support other formats, such as WMA, and DVDs for additional storage. I would still recommend Rockford Fosgate as a brand to consider. Their products are generally a bit more expensive, but overall I am pleased...

Is "Punch-Out!!" a knockout?

Advantages: Pick-up & play fun, lengthy, endearing

Advantages: Adam Sandler is much better than you might expect...
Disadvantages: ... but that's not really saying much

...and distract the viewer, this film is just annoying. I?ve reviewed two other offbeat movies recently here and each got raves from me, for the depth with which they portrayed their characters, and for their flashes of humour and warmth. Punch Drunk Love may be the weirdest and most confusing film you?ll see all year, but without that central sympathetic character development, it?s ultimately cold and shallow. Not recommended....

Punch-Drunk Love

Advantages: Unique, establishes Sandler, mildly heartwarming.
Disadvantages: A little too quirky at times.

So says Barry to Lena at one particularly tender point in their relationship. Without anything further, we've established that Punch-Drunk Love does not conform to the usual romantic comedy cliches. To describe this film in a way that demonstrates the tone without giving too much away is a more difficult task than one would think. I suspect this is largely to the film being so different to other films of it's nature. Barry Egan (Adam Sandler) is a mild-mannered manager at a novelty toilet plunger company whose life is constantly intruded upon by his seven sisters. Punch-drunk Love-A bona-fide masterpiece or a dull flop?

Advantages: It's very touching and romantic.Depicts the excruciating aspects of family life & funny in parts.
Disadvantages: A bit slow moving and dull at times.

...I had heard so many good things about this movie and once I heard Philip Seymour Hoffman was in it, I was sure I was going to love it. But from the first few minutes of this film, I went through this intellectual process that was simultaniously excruciating and interesting, whereby I tried to decide if I was enjoying this movie or if I was hating it. Punch-Drunk love really is a good title for this movie because it kind of deals with those feelings of violence that are sometimes expressions of love and romance. The best example I can come up with is 'I love you so much I could eat you/I love you so much I could squash you'. But for me the title also pretty much summed up the feeling that the whole movie gave me. It was agonisingly slow at times (deliberately I think) and at other times delightful. Fruitiness that Packs a Punch

Advantages: Refreshing alternative, great range of flavours, can be drunk hot or cold, hardly any calories, no caffine, natural ingredients - need I go on?
Disadvantages: None really, you can find a flavour to suit you

Fruity drink with a punch

Advantages: Extremely tasty and Caffeine Free!

...I have a very unusual tale to tell in how I came about even liking London Fruit and Herb fruit punch selection. I really can?t stand tea and I only have coffee when I?m really in the mood for one, even then it has to be a really good quality coffee, but anyway?
