A super slim blank makes the rod look great and understated markings really make it feel like a custom built rod. I use the 3lb tc model and it really is a superb all rounder, the rod really can cast, hitting 100 yards with ease and going well over that mark when needed. Also it can play a fish, it is not too stiff so you suffer hook pulls. ...I've just been to see my brother who's just got back in the country the other day having been out to Dubai on business.  We said the usual 'hellos' and what-not but then he asks me if I've seen a film called 'Hot Rod'.  Apparently he watched it on the plane back to the UK, thought it was fantastic and asked if I wanted to watch it now.  You've got to bear in mind that by watching the film we would have missed the football on TV so the film must have been a cut above the rest! Solid lure rod

Advantages: great for most situations
Disadvantages: Not the best for long range due to length

...This rod has a casting weight of 60-110 grams, and is 7ft in length, it is suited for the largest of lures and medium sized jerk baits. Braid wise you want to be looking at 50-65lb breaking strain. Couple this with a nice heavy trace, personally i use around 80lb for the bigger lures, and you are rocking and rolling. Its a great rod and can handle a wide variety of lures, so with one of these, and a ligher rod, somthing like 10-40 gram casting weight, then you will be covered for nearly all situations you are likely to come across. Its a good length, especially for tight work on both rivers and lakes, and is especially suited for boat work, as its not too cumbersome... Casting lures it is great, some rods are way under rated or over rated, but this seems about right, you could go 10 - 20 grams either side of the casting weight...

...This was the follow up to "Every Picture Tells A Story" and while it was not as commercially successful , it is still a great album. Keeping the same line up and a similar mix of songs to it's predecessor , Rod Stewart managed to produce another gem of an album. The title of the album is very descritive of the content , although , with deliberate irony, the cover features a painting of Mr Stewart, slumped in an armchair looking more than a little bored. The Album opens with the upbeat self-deprecatory "True Blue", before launching into the gorgeous "Lost (sic) Paraguayos", keeping the same folksy / Faces hybrid sound of "Every Picture Tells A Story".
