...We had to upgrade our MaxiCosi Priori (with which we've been very pleased) as our large (over 3ft!) two and a half year old's legs were getting too long for it and digging in the back of the passenger's seat. We spent some time and shoe leather traipsing round stores (there wasn't one John Lewis store across London that we hadn't visited) trying out various options, having a think, weighing up the solutions. We'd assumed we'd just go on the MAxiCosi Rodi as we'd had the two younger models successively of this brand. The problem with which we were faced, was that most booster type car seats that 'sit' on the back seat (rather than being strapped in like the models for younger ones), such as this one, do not have the five point harness, but rely, instead, on your using the car's seat belt. Super mouse house.

Advantages: Good size, all included, escape and cat proof!
Disadvantages: Lid can be difficult to open/close

..., just for the people who live around them! The mini duna will easily house a small group of mice or a pair of dwarfs. There are only a few minor negatives that I shoud mention. Firstly the wire door on the lid does tend to be quite tough to open and close, especially when new, though it does ensure the cat-proof-ness, and gets easier with age. Secondly being an enclosed cage it can't be left anywhere in the direct sunlight as it will tend to heat up rapidly, it does however prevent any chilling drafts from reaching your pet. Lastly - a little more pricy than similar cage (Savic Rody, Bernie deluxe) but I definately say it's worth the extra fiver. Overall a great product from Ferplast, highly recommended for mice, dwarf hamsters...

Disadvantages: a little out of the way, not too exciting.

...that split off millions of years ago and attached itself to Italy, which is why the geography is so different and unique from the rest of the Adriatic Coast. Of course, it probably made a pretty good choice, in retrospect, so it's a clever bit of rock in with the bargain! The Gargano is an interesting, oddity of a region. I mean, the people are great and friendly, there is a line of tourist resort towns, from Vieste, which is the largest, through to smaller towns such as Rodi Garganico and Peschici along the northern coast. The beaches are beautiful. The landscape is at the early stages of development but not quite there.. think of, perhaps, how Mallorca might have been 30 years ago. There are some hotels, not too many, the entertainment is not slick, but rather sedate. It certainly isn't a young persons' party zone.. not yet anyhow...

Gears of War - Best game ever?

Such glitches are things like 'Rodie Running' also known as 'Crab Walking' this is where a player can shoot whilst doing the rodie run that can be done pressing A on the controller. This glitch is easy to do and will give the player an unfair advantage along with the possibility of receiving bad rep off the opposition. 'Kung-Foo Flip' this glitch is slightly more difficult and will allow the player to get out of the map and roam along its boarders, this is quite a fun thing to do but again can result in bad rep so I would avoid doing this, well I would avoid doing all glitches as it spoils the game! If you have any questions on glitches feel free to ask me how to do them, I know a few! Raping Now I know what you're thinking, what is raping doing on here, or what does it have to do with Gears...

Breaking the stigma - fancy rats as pets

Advantages: Clean, intelligent, affectionate, fun-loving, good small pets for kids

Hammocks are good for this, but I like to provide variety by adding a Rody Igloo plastic bed and other things for rats to curl up in. Torn or shredded kitchen roll or newpaper makes good bed filler. **Boys or girls?** Male rats are referred to as bucks and females as does. Baby rats are called kittens. Bucks and does tend to have different characteristics and personalities, although this can also vary between rats of the same gender. As a whole, bucks are lazier and better as "lap rats" than girls, although there are always exceptions to the rule. Does tend to be more "on the go" and less likely to sit still for a sleepy cuddle...
