..., hoping to give awareness to the general public about the many ?cowboy? builders/ plumbers/tree surgeons?well almost any conmen out there who are intent on conning the general public, usual the elderly, out of there hard earned cash. It is a simple format which this show uses, bringing the ?rogues? to the house which Allwright and co. have rigged with camera, using an actor/actress to play the part of the bewildered ?victim?, whilst the two investigators, and an expert on that particular job, hide somewhere around the house, watching the ?conmen? and their every move. Before the crew invite the ?rogue trader? to the house, with the intention of offering them work, the shows expert gives the ?job? the once over, then gives a report of what needs ?fixing? and how much it should cost to ?fix it?? in some cases simply removing a connecter so...

Review of BBC 1 Rogue Traders

A ROGUE REVIEW

Advantages: Crisp and refreshing
Disadvantages: A little one-sided

...It's a demanding business, this beer reviewing malarkey. Always on the look-out for new and exciting beers to try, opening bottles, pouring a brew, and sipping on all manner of exotic concoctions.....it's all go. Still, someone's got to do it - and I suppose it does have it's compensations. On the subject of seeking out new beers, I guess I'm not the only one doing a spot of hunting as new beers appear on the supermarkets shelves daily. Lucky for me - lucky for you. Recently, my local store has seen an influx of a number of quality beers from across the water. No, unfortunately not from Belgium. The water I was referring to was the Atlantic Ocean...and thankfully, I'm not talking about Mexican beers either. I'm talking the US of A. Review of Rogue American Amber Ale

Rogue Trooper is a great game, shame it doesnt last long though.

Advantages: Good graphics and sound, Great storyline, Intruiging concept and gameplay.
Disadvantages: Wont last that long unfortunately.

...or just through regular shooting, though the stealth method means you have more salvage to upgrade weaponry as you are injured much less. There are also levels to break up the third person shooter gameplay such as the flying level, where you are, for the most part of the level, manning a heavy machine gun. Whilst the Gameplay in Rogue Trooper is not ground breaking, it is very fun and well worth playing. The game is quite open, whilst there is a strict line to follow, the landscapes are wide and give you a choice of plans of action. 4/5 Graphics The graphics are not spectacular but are very good, the environments are all varied and highly detailed. The guns and characters are well detailed and like the rest of the game, graphically pleasing. Whilst not on a graphical par with some first party games, I find the graphics very good...

Rogue Trader

Advantages: Great story line, true life
Disadvantages: Difficult to understand

...Barings with debts of £850M he flees to Frankfurt, only to be caught in Abu Dabi and arrested. The soundtrack is also good and works brilliant in the film. Travis, Manic Street Preachers, Reef, Finley Quaye, The Clash and Leftfield all feature in Rogue Trader. The acting is brilliant, Ewan and Anna really work hard and the outcome is amazing. Whether this is the "real" story or not we will never know, but it shows one amazing true story that you will never forget. Total running time is 97 minutes. Rating: 15...

Review of Rogue Trader (DVD)

Rogue Trader but certainly not a rogue film

Advantages: Great acting, excellent plot
Disadvantages: A little technical at times but doesn't really spoil the enjoyment much

...Rogue Trader is a film-documentary depicting the rise and fall of a Mr Nick Leeson (played by the excellent Ewan McGregor), an investor for Barings Bank. For those who were living on the Moon in 1995, Barings Bank (of which the Queen was a customer) collapsed that year after Leeson abused his position of trust and gambled customer's money on the stock market. Leeson had it all, good job, money and was happily married but he wanted more but what transpired was not what Leeson expected.... I decided to buy this film due to the fact I take an interest in the stock market. Of course, during the film many technical terms are used and at times I did have problems understanding what was going on but that did not detract from my enjoyment of the film as I got the gist of what was happening. You don't have to be a financial analyst to enjoy...

Rogues are loveable, are they not? This one is.

Advantages: Strong flavoured, rich, full bodied amber ale. Not all American beer is pale and insipid
Disadvantages: Somewhat expensive. Recent arrival so you may have to look for it.

Rogue Spear rules

Advantages: Nice loading times. Great graphics.
Disadvantages: Can crash sometimes.

...Rogue Spear This game is amazing. After already playing the rather limited original version of Rainbow 6, running this fully 3D enabled version was just wonderful. The graphics were clear and smooth, with no false textures or jagged edges. Loading times were short, and minimalistic, meaning that you never have long to wait before you get to fight again. Initially, the idea of mission plans was difficult to me. A hardened Counter Strike player, meant that i was more used to the direct frag approach. But once playing a few of the pre made directions, it becomes apparaent how usefull they can be in guiding your team members to victory. Yet another inovative idea used here is the internet gaming. Team or singeplayer matches are played with speed and little lag, so you get the most out of the gameplay. I found it very easy to find...

...i bought rogue spear in a local ship, curries, about 10 months ago, beacuse i had some money, and i had loved rainbow 6. now, i have played aliens vs predator, total anhilation, half life, including opposing force, counter strike, team fortress, not to mention soldier of fortune and the old games, like doom. and in all that time, i have not seen any game that requires such complete co-ordination, and such a high level of training as rainbow 6 rogue spear.
