Rogue Trooper is a great game, shame it doesnt last long though.

Advantages: Good graphics and sound, Great storyline, Intruiging concept and gameplay.
Disadvantages: Wont last that long unfortunately.

...or just through regular shooting, though the stealth method means you have more salvage to upgrade weaponry as you are injured much less. There are also levels to break up the third person shooter gameplay such as the flying level, where you are, for the most part of the level, manning a heavy machine gun. Whilst the Gameplay in Rogue Trooper is not ground breaking, it is very fun and well worth playing. The game is quite open, whilst there is a strict line to follow, the landscapes are wide and give you a choice of plans of action. 4/5 Graphics The graphics are not spectacular but are very good, the environments are all varied and highly detailed. The Wii needs a truly great shoot 'em up but this isn't quite it

Advantages: One of the better shooters for the Wii
Disadvantages: Drab graphics. No online multiplayer. Dated compared to shooters on other consoles

Advantages: tries to keep the general public informed
Disadvantages: none unless you're a rogue trader of course

A ROGUE REVIEW

Advantages: Crisp and refreshing
Disadvantages: A little one-sided

Definitely not Super Troopers

Disadvantages: Just about everything else about it - bad acting, pointless plot, too many coincidences...

...I had always assumed that Starship troopers was a good riproaring film, along the lines of Robocop. I've only just watched Starship Troopers, after all this time, four years after it came out (I think it was all the hype at the time that put me off) and had to rethink things. I thought it was pointless teen trash. It's directed by Paul Varhoeven, has a promising futuristic backdrop, and good special effects, but any other comparisons to Robocop are, I think, highly misplaced. Starship Troopers was, for me, little better than movies like Streetfighter, movies that, deep down, would rather be a computer game. After 30 minutes I'd had enough, but I persevered, to be rewarded by yet more uninspired acting, and unbelievable coincidences as far as the plot was concerned, oh and, on the plus side, lots of great special effects...

Advantages: Excellent film and a deserving disc

...Starship Troopers, the DVD, is getting a reissue soon, something that it deserves as no-one should miss out on this film. Many people have been put off the disc because it’s a ‘flipper’ but have missed out on a great movie experience because of this. So what is the film all about? Disadvantages: Nowhere near as good as the first one

...I watched the first Starship Troopers with bated breath, it was action all the way, so when I had the chance to buy Starship Troopers 2 I didn't hesitate. I have just watched Starship Troopers 2 today, what a flop. Most of it was shot in semi darkness so you couldn't see what was going on and if you hadn't seen the first film you wouldn't have had the foggiest idea what was going on, even if it had been filmed in daylight. There were about twenty soldiers shooting huge guns willy nilly at millions of bugs. As far as I can remember I only saw one trooper get killed. In the first film hundreds got killed in various gruesome ways, much more interesting. I was so disappointed - I thought I was watching a much less exciting Get Me Out of Here I'm a Celebrity; there were bugs everywhere. There was a little bit of sex, well...

Advantages: Great story line, true life
Disadvantages: Difficult to understand

...Barings with debts of £850M he flees to Frankfurt, only to be caught in Abu Dabi and arrested. The soundtrack is also good and works brilliant in the film. Travis, Manic Street Preachers, Reef, Finley Quaye, The Clash and Leftfield all feature in Rogue Trader. The acting is brilliant, Ewan and Anna really work hard and the outcome is amazing. Whether this is the "real" story or not we will never know, but it shows one amazing true story that you will never forget. Total running time is 97 minutes. Rating: 15...

Rogue Trader but certainly not a rogue film

Advantages: Great acting, excellent plot
Disadvantages: A little technical at times but doesn't really spoil the enjoyment much

...Rogue Trader is a film-documentary depicting the rise and fall of a Mr Nick Leeson (played by the excellent Ewan McGregor), an investor for Barings Bank. For those who were living on the Moon in 1995, Barings Bank (of which the Queen was a customer) collapsed that year after Leeson abused his position of trust and gambled customer's money on the stock market. Leeson had it all, good job, money and was happily married but he wanted more but what transpired was not what Leeson expected.... I decided to buy this film due to the fact I take an interest in the stock market. Of course, during the film many technical terms are used and at times I did have problems understanding what was going on but that did not detract from my enjoyment of the film as I got the gist of what was happening.
