...The imperial palace is the best building in the world , it is so big and menacing . Rome is a very picturesque city with beautiful venues and people!!!!!! The best way to travel around Rome is on moped , it gives u a better view and feel of the city. The vatican is absoulutely amazing , how can one man michaelangelo do such good artwork in one lifetime a true great . Rome is also an exceptional place to shop, the amount of quality shops like diesel , gucci are just amazing. All of the people are very friendly and very organised . The best place to eat in Rome value for money is probably spizzico or Damiano's pizza place absoulutely fantastic. ROME A MUST FOR ALL PEOPLE... Read review

...rome is a city where there will be mixed opinions. if you like looking at museums, beautiful pieces of art and great buildings, then rome is for you. i loved rome, and i am not really into this, but im sure, for people who are not interested in these things, they cant help but feel excited looking at buildings 2000 years old. if you like going to places and just wandering around, rome is great for this. you can wander anytime during the summertime, and you will be ensured of company. a great and interesting city. definetely one to visit.... ...This summer I went Inter-Railing around Europe, and Rome was probably my favourite place that I visited. Rome is a large capital city, and it has all the things you expect from one: History, nightlife, traffic, and pick-pockets! If you ask me the pick-pocket problem is not an issue, as all large cities have pick-pockets, and Rome wasn't as bad as other places I visited, such as Paris. The architectural history of Rome is fabulous, and I especially loved the Pantheon. I recomend that you go and see this beautiful ancient building. The nightlife is also great. The Italians don't really do nightclubs, they just go for a meal, and then go on to bars. Anyway, go to Rome, you'll have a great time!... Read review

...What a city. It seems to have everything. If its culture you are after there is so much to see and the advantage is it is spread over a relatively small area. Even if you only spend a day in Rome you will have the opportunity to see the sights everyone else talks about. The Forum, St Peters, Vatican City, The Trevi fountains, the river Tiber, the coliseum and so much more. If you are in Rome you will be able to see these in a leisurley fashion but if you are staying elswhere and get the opportunity for a flying visit for the day do not despair, jump at the chance. You will be surprised at how much you will be able to see and, of course photograph. It will be an unforgetable experience.... Read review

...This is a really good practice cd rom. You can do mock theory tests and mock hazzard perception tests plus it has all the theory eg highway code etc that you need. The clever thing with this cd rom is that it works out what areas you are weak on and can give you more of those specific questions. Plus it does various graphs of how youre doing over time and what you need to work on. An excellent cd rom which gives lots of tips and has lots of videos to help you along the way. Very easy to use and you can even download podcasts to your mp3 player to learn as you go. Highly recommneded and a bagain as well.... Read review

...I may be only 19 years of age but I'm well travelled enough to know that no where on the planet beats Italy and it's capital Rome. Most of my friends Know by now that I will retire there and I've already visited 5 times. Where can you start with Rome, and thats my first point. Rome is huge, not only it's size but it's depth of history and culture. Theres not only history to soak in but modern day Rome too, full of vibriance, hot tempered mediterranean moped riders and ice-cream. To list all of Romes wonders would take days and would be a waste of time. Just to say that you should go and see it for your self. It is one of those places you need to see. Rome isn't the only place to offer such enjoyment, there's Venice, Naples, Turin and Milan- all of which make incredible places to visit. If there is somewhere , though, in Rome you must... ...I visited Rome for a long weekend in March this Year and throughly enjoyed my visit. I enjoyed walking around the Centre of Rome in the Spring Sunshine taking in the sights, sounds and culture of this place. The Spanish Steps in the heart of the major shopping area is a great place just to sit and "people watch" soaking up the laid back, but oh so very chic, atmosphere. The people are friendly - although the men can be a little too friendly - they do believe in their repuatation as "Italian Stallions" - we only wished that it was indeed the case! Don't miss the Vatican - teh most amazing place that I have ever visited - give yourself a good day to do justice to this place.... Read review

...Rome is truly one of the most romantic and historically interesting places that one can ever hope to visit. From the amazing Vatican city to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps, it is easy to see why it was not built in a day. Unfortunately, to see the town in its true beauty requires an extremely early start, especially in the case of the Vatican. The year 2000 is speculated to be attracting twice the amount of tourism as 1999 due to holy pilgrimages taking place. A word of warning – in order to show respect tourists are sometimes required to cover bare knees and shoulders when entering religious buildings. Gather some of the local currency and make sure to throw one or more coins in the fountain depending on your wishes – and the Colosseum also merits a visit with its ‘authentic’ gladiators outside!...
