I am Sirenne
Advantages: ...
Disadvantages: ...
...Hello, I am an italian university student of Ca' Foscari university of Venice. My name is Raffaella, I was born in Treviso 22 years ago, a nice town near Venice, in Italy.
I live in a flat in Treviso, with my parents. I have a brothers, his name's Riccardo and he is 27 years old, my father's name is Rinaldo, he is 58 years old, my mother's name is Romana, she is 56 years old.
I don't speak english very well, but I hope to better my english in this community.
I like read the romance, watch the television, listen music, play with the computer. I like the cats, the dogs and all animals but I hate the snakes and the spiders.
Excuse me very bad english...

It's the Jagaroth who need all the chickens?
Advantages: Exquisite... simply exquisite.
Disadvantages: Too good to be true
...gangster movie tradition. With a large amount of location filming in Paris, City of Death borrows most heavily from Godard's iconic A Bout de Souffle and the New Wave in general (A Bout de Souffle's bungling detectives are still around, as is the emphasis on filming around Paris's main tourist attractions, and the amateur feel, with pedestrians gawping at the cameras. More generally, the Romantic figures of the Doctor and Romana represent hugely Godardian hero figures, particularly in the contrast with the practical oafish Duggan). Hammer Horror is also parodied in basement laboratory scenes. By mining such a deep cultural vein, and then throwing in a crazy time-travel sub-plot, the result is ninety minutes of the greatest television ever produced.
The plot in a sentence: The Doctor and Romana loaf around Paris before eventually thwarting...

City of Love
Advantages: The script, performances, location work, and DVD extras are excellent.
Disadvantages: It's Doctor Who, the effects are never going to be perfect.
...For many fans City of Death represents the pinnacle of the classic series of Doctor Who. Starring Tom Baker, the most well-known incarnation of the famous Time Lord (at least until his return to BBC One in 2005) and Lalla Ward as Romana, his equally brilliant Time Lord companion, the story sees the pair waltz through Paris cafes, streets and galleries before saving the human race from being wiped out of time.
The plot is marvellously whimsical: Scaroth is an alien trapped on Earth and splintered into twelve parts throughout time. In Paris, in the nineteen eighties, he's masquerading as a Count and trying to construct a time machine, whilst his other selves influence human history in an effort to push technology forward. Unfortunately he's having funding difficulties, and must steal the Mona Lisa in order to continue his work. Luckily...

Zizzi's- A chain restaurant worth going to!
Advantages: great food, nice open kitchen, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Chain restaurant may put some people off, a little expensive for a 3 course meal.
...with the Antipasto Zizzi being my favourite (a selection of proscuitto Crudo, salami Romana, smoked mountain ham, buffalo milk mozzarella, marinated sun dried tomatoes and salad with Italian bread, served on a sharing platter- serves 2). Others include Angelo's mussels, bruschetta and goats cheese and roasted veg.
There are also 9 types of desserts ranging from tiramisu, chocolate truffle cake and Amaretti cheesecake.
**Prices**
The prices are not expensive but are a little more than the average high street chain. Pizza's and pasta are reasonable (pizza's £6.50-8.75, pasta £6.50-9.50), but risottos are a little more (£8.95-11.95). The starters bulk up the bill (£4.35-9.95) and I think the desserts are quite expensive (~£4.75).
Drinks are quite expensive with a Peroni at £3.65 and a glass of wine at ~£4.
**The Atmosphere**
The waiters and waitresses...

A Leisurely Drive
Advantages: Good plot, convincing aliens, lack of appalling bit-part actors.
Disadvantages: Somewhat unmemorable and a less than spiffy new mix of the theme tune.
...a matter of opinion, but certainly the opening story of the season, The Leisure Hive, had a definite confidence about it and was a strong start to the year.
The story opens in that classic, somewhat damp, British tourist destination of Brighton beach. The Doctor, Tom Baker in his final year in the role, is having a holiday ad rather enjoying his snooze on the sand. Romana, his Time Lady companion (played by the lovely Lalla Ward), is having less fun: K-9 has broken down after an untimely swim in the sea and she really doesn't see the fun in making sandcastles. So after a quick argument, it's off to Argolis for an entirely different sort of holiday, and the adventure proper begins.
Argolis, home of the Leisure Hive, and a species that's all but been wiped out in a brutal war. While most of their planet remains radioactive, they showcase...

No Doctor Jokes Here Please!
Advantages: All Five Doctors together i one story!
Disadvantages: Just a few plot holes!
...compared to the others. The reason behind this is that he did not want to participate in this due to the fact that he had just left the role about a year earlier and as Davison was still new to the role of The Doctor this meant that Baker could upset the cart. The segments that you see him with Romana punting are taking from an unused episode that was never completed due to strike action at the BBC at the time they were being produced and so the serial was never completed.
This isn't a bad thing as I thought that having all Doctors in a studio at one time make the screen look busy and can cause confusion, as it is there are four of them and I think that was quite enough to watch throughout the show.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this Anniversary Special; it is a story that has everything and nearly everyone that has ever been in Doctor...

CARMONA (not a back-seat driver)
Advantages: More history than you can shake a centurion's spear at
Disadvantages: May be too quiet for some
...or entertainment, but everywhere you look, a little drop of history seeps from the sandy-coloured stones of the churches or mansion-houses. The courtyards, the narrow passageways, the haphazard maze of white-washed houses, the metalwork of grilled windows and the abundant geraniums hanging from every wall. It's a joy to stroll around in and, unlike most medieval towns, it's not precipitously steep (although it's not exactly flat, either).
The modern part of town doesn't really have a lot to tempt the tourist - this is the more work-a-day part of Carmona - although there is a theatre that occasionally stages opera and a couple of lovely little parks.
Outside the old town, in fact lying on the very edge of the modern town, is the Necropolis Romana - undoubtedly Carmona's top attraction.
It sits in a quiet area, on a low hill liberally adorned...

As you can see ricotta is relatively low fat as cheese goes so you don't have to feel too guilty about eating it!
The History of Ricotta.
************************
The origins of Ricotta cheese reach back into Latin and Mediterranean history. It is believed to have been created in the Roman countryside by travellers who cooked over the open fire. The name Ricotta is derived from the Latin word recocta, meaning re-cooked or cooked twice.
There are three distinct varieties of ricotta: ricotta salata moliterna (ewe's milk whey), ricotta piemontese (cow's milk whey + 10% milk) and ricotta romana (a byproduct of Romano cheese production).
