...As part of my review into roses, I plan to review the main areas of rose growing in detail. The areas that I will cover are, how to design gardens to incorporate roses, the preparation of the soil and the physical planting of roses and the routine care required for rose growing. Rose Fantastique

...ensure that it's safe to use. Depending on how sharp you like your point, you shouldn't need to sharpen this too often either, so you'll definitely get your money's worth out of this pencil. Price and Availability Speaking of getting your money's worth...the Bourjois Khôl & Contour eye-liner pencil retails at £4.20 at Boots. However, getting your hand on the Rose Fantaisiste shade could prove tricky, since it's not available on the Boots website. I can't say whether or not it is still available in store, as I haven't had any reason to look out for it since I bought it. I've had mine for over a year now and it's still going strong. If you're interested in other shades, the Boots website has 7 different shades (albeit it two different black shades and their new, double-ended black and white Khôl Contour pencil). Why are they called Roses?

Advantages: Lovely cadbury chocolate
Disadvantages: Centres not as good as they used to be.

...Before Christmas several shops had offers for tins of chocolates and I bought a big tin of Cadbury Roses. We are still digging into them but I have sampled them all, even the ones I dislike! My tin contained 1.05kg, I do wish I had counted how many chocolates were in the tin, but on second thoughts I don't want to know how many we have consumed although they have been shared with friends and family! Best before date is April 2009, I was surprised to see the contents are stamped on the base although different chocolates could be replaced if necessary. There is information on the makers Cadbury Trebor Bassett and contact details, if you need to complain. Although it does say there could be a white bloom if the chocolates have been left in the sun or exposed to heat, which is harmless. There is a list of ingredients and a note that Soya...

Purple Roses (!)

Advantages: Wonderful tale of cinematic fantasy
Disadvantages: None

...it over and over, with the enjoyment and contentment etched all over her face and magically caught in her eyes through the flicker of the light from the big screen. After what must be 20 + visits to watch "The Purple Rose of Cairo", the object of Cecelia's affection, Tom Baxter, speaks to her from the screen! Transfixed by her he speaks out and states "? You must really like this movie?" to which Cecelia doesn't appear overly astonished at the occurrence. Tom exits the picture and enters the real world absconding with Cecelia, much to the dissatisfaction and irritation of his co-stars, who later demonstrate and epitomise the beauty of this skilfully crafted script. Tom's co-stars are the source of interest and the movie within the movie is as interesting as the movie itself, as the characters provide a number of entertaining...

Do you prefer daisies or roses?

...Every now and then, my dear mum decides to treat us. Whether its on a day out, a trip to the cinema or a special meal for tea, she usually makes a big effot at least once every two to three weeks. I love these times, when me, my mum and two younger brothers go out for a posh meal to a big fancy restuarant or we drive 3 hours to a theme park and spend the night in a hotel. Sometimes though my mum is slightly tight for money and has to put the treat off untill the next week, although she doesnt do this often, when she does she feels really bad and she always trys to make it up to us- introduce Cadburys Roses. Roses, Roses Everywhere!

Advantages: Traditional Christmas Chocolates
Disadvantages: There are none left by New Year

...The time for celebrating the birth of Jesus is approaching and for some reason, I know not why, we seem to eat more chocolate at this time of year than any other. Go round any supermarket at this time and there are random heaps of tins in all corners, they are on special offer, or two for one offers, or just there, but you can't miss them. Our favourite and the most traditional that we can remember are Cadburys Roses. When the children were little my parents always bought us a tin for Christmas and we opened it on Christmas Eve, there was nothing left in the tin by new years eve but by then we had had enough chocolates to last us most of January. I think maybe Cadburys think you may know they contain nuts my the name, but that doesn't matter in my opinion, they should still state that it contains nuts. ●OTHER INFORMATION● My carton, which is the largest is a 436g net carton. The milk chocolate and chocolate contain vegetable fats in addition to cocoa butter. Advantages: Creepy, Large, Mysterious and a story that must be told.
Disadvantages: It was rather long!
