...This fragrance is like no other I have ever come across. It is totally unique. Recently new to the market but an instant classic. I sell perfume for a living in Harvey Nichols and this is a perfume adored by all. I've never once sprayed this on to someone's arm and they not have liked it. It can be worn by all ages. It's a long lasting perfume, the scent lingers with you all day. Recognisable. Classed as an oriental floral fragrance. It contains notes of hyacinth and citron, jasmine, pink pepper, fresh vetiver, orris absolute, amber patchouli and white musk. Very romantic and seductive. This product is available in 50ml, 100ml and now handbag size 3x30ml, as well as a range of bath time products. Wake up and smell the roses

Advantages: Light, unusual, delicate, feminine
Disadvantages: Delicate notes are not noticeable

...without crushing or harvesting the petals of the flower. The living flower is placed in a glass bell where an apparatus inhales the scent which is then recreated in laboratory. When I sprayed the perfume on my arm, it smelled more than just rose. It smelled like the whole flower with its leaves and woody stem; a scent that reminded me of spring mornings when the earth exhales its dewy freshness and the smell of wet grass hangs in the air. Being an eau de parfum this first phase of 'very rose' is tenacious can last up to an hour. After that the middle notes appear which are composed of balanced fresh floral scents of rose oil and magnolia. I liked this phase better, it was however a lot more faded than the top notes of rose. The woody, sweet, light, subtle and powdery base gives it a lovely finish that lingers on the skin for up to 8 hours...

...I got this perfumes for my birthday from my boyfriend's parents. They knew that I liked them as I found tester in one magazine some time ago and I was going to buy them myself. However they were quicker. There are few things which I would highly recommend in this product. First of all- fragrance. You have probably seen an advert and you need to admit it's a bit mysterious, seductive and it makes impression. There's no difference with the smell. If I would need to use only one world to describe it- it would be Seductive. This composition is very strong that's why I would rather discourage you of using it in the morning. All the senses are very sensitive in the morning and these perfumes may irritate you or even entourage. I remember when I spray it few times on me in the morning, it almost made me sneezing. It may be hard to believe but...

...A little bit of histoy about Givenchy: Hubert De Givenchy was born in France in 1927. He designed for many of the famous French fashion houses. In 1952 he opened his own Fashion house,his designs for Audrey Hep burn in `Breakfast at Tiffanys` popularised the sleeveless high bosom dress. Givenchy showed his very last couture collection in 1995. Product and packaging: Amarige is very beautifully and elegantly presented in a clear glass bottle with a `sculpted` glass stopper. The outer box being a lavish red and gold. A 50 ml spray is available at Beauty Bay for £25.49 The fragrance notes: Neroli,Mandarin,Violets,Gardenia,Ylang-Ylang,Mimosa,Ambergris Musk and Vanilla. Wow! I love that Aadehydes smell you're wearing !!

Advantages: This is THE perfume - pure class!
Disadvantages: Expensive but worth it.

...people - on some the jasmine will prevail on others the sandalwood, but always that distinctive fragrance is prevalant. It is feminine and floral - and yet not flowery, it is powdery it is vanilla - it is just pure class. Chanel No. 5 is ladylike and can be worn any time of the day or night. It's very esscence personafies style and yet it is mysreious and sexy. The composition of the perfume is Neroli (the flower of the bitter orange tree), Ylang-Ylang , Jasmine, May Rose, Sandalwood ,Vetiver, Vanilla and Aldehydes. Chanel No 5 is available as spray or bottle perfume, eau de toilette, bath oil, body cream, body elixir, body lotion, spray deodorant, bath gel, bath soap, pressed body powder and talc. Imagine the lucky lady who received a gift hamper of all that - Mmmm might get my hubby to read this review...

Bvlgari Rose Essentielle

...This is one of my favourite fragrances. I had not really come across 'Bvlgari' (pronounced 'Bulgari') fragrances before and I knew the brand more for bags and shoes... I came across this perfume on one of my shopping trips to 'Debenhams' where they have a large selection of perfumes to sample and choose from. I was drawn to this particular frangrance 'Rose Essentielle' as it was one of the ones in the 'new' section and I was looking for a perfume that had a sweet flowery scent that was not too strong, just nice and subtle... and this was one of them. I was really impressed with this one that I got the big 50ml bottle that seemed like a rather generous quantitiy for approximately £32 I paid for it about a year ago.. The bottle is a transparent one in a light pink colour and the cover is a gold round and chunky one with pink top...

I often like most perfumes and find that each fragrance has a particular time of the year or time of the day where it is suited to. I do of course have my favourites and this Miss Sixty perfume is one of them. I have used up I would say at least 2 or 3 bottles of this stuff since it came out about 3 years ago. This means I must use quite a lot because I have such a wide variety in the bathroom and these Miss Sixty bottles hold a fair bit of the perfume. I am mostly bought perfumes from people and don?t end up having to pay anything for them and I think this bottle is no different. ...unique and beautiful golden and glass cover top. It is a beautiful bottle and when I am shopping for perfumes, the bottle normally draws me to a perfume as much as the perfume itself... In my opinion, the shape of this bottle is similar to the womanly curves and very appealing with the golden cover.. I'd describe the fragrance as a sweet flowery scent which is strong enough that it lasts all day when applied. I apply it to my wrists, rub in and to my neck and can still still get wafts of the fragrance much later in the day so if you're looking for a lovely long-lasting fragrance, this is one of them. J'adore contains alcohol, water, mandarin, ivy leaves, the champaca flower, orchids, roses, violets, damascus plum, amaranth wood, and blackberry musk. Yup flowers, flowers and more flowers... It is long lasting as you only have to use...

...I tried this when it was sprayed on me in Harvey Nicks, and I wasn't terribly pleased at first. It seemed much more floral than I would normally wear. I was a die-hard Clarins Eau Dynamisante girl at the time. But as I walked round the store, I kept sniffing at my hand (where the girl had sprayed me) and the fragrance grew on me more and more. Underneath the violet/rose top notes, there's a lovely woody hint of amber that is utterly seductive! Eventually, I HAD to go back and actually buy a bottle there and then. That's never happened to me before, I can assure you. It's a very feminine fragrance but it has a depth that I really like. It also has tremendous lasting power which I wouldn't have expected for such an initially floral scent. I buy this all the time now and I really don't like to be without it. I've tried the variants...
