...I have recently began to get a taste for eating Noodles, I work as a care assistant on a various shift rota system and my work colleagues are mainly Philippine or Thai ladies and next to rice their other staple foods are vegetables and Noodles. I never really ate noodles before working with my friends, but have now acquired a taste for them, so you can imagine my surprise to find Tesco Value Noodles for only 8p. Every the bargain hunter I decided that I could risk loosing 8p if I didn't like the product. Tesco's value products are usually packaged in blue,red and white, this makes it easy to spot on the supermarket shelves. Not only do most of their value products save you cash but they are usually of good quality and taste. Noodles are really easy and quick to make, boil water, add noodles, boil for around 2-3 minutes...

Review of Tesco Value Chicken Noodles

Classic cosa nostra

Advantages: The best gangster movie - an offer you can't refuse...
Disadvantages: none

...When Francis Ford Coppola set out to make this film he was practically unknown - with only a little heard of musical starring Fred Astaire(!) to his credit. He took on an epic novel and turned it into the greatest gangster film ever made, firmly establishing himself as one of the greats of modern cinema following this up with The Conversation, Godfather II and Apocalypse Now (yet since these only Dracula stands out as the work of a master). The Godfather is actually fairly old fashioned in style if not in its sometimes violent and ugly depiction of the mob and it somehow manages to force the audiences sympathy for the main character (Al Pacino) and his cohorts - this is largely down to superb performances all round. Wonderful music as well by Nino Rota. Classic stuff....

How Clean Is Your House?

Advantages: A good show, highly addictive, great tips, Kim & Aggie are quite funny.
Disadvantages: Some parts make me cringe.

Kim & Aggie bring in a cleaning team who help to get the house back to a habitable place and they will dish out lots of tips along the way about keeping certain areas tidy and household or very cheap items such as vinegar or bicarbonate of soda that can be used in a whole host of ways to keep everything from glass to televisions looking spick and span. Once the cleaning is complete we are shown before and after videos of the property and Kim & Aggie will badger the person in to cleaning more often and keeping on top of things and quite often they will provide them with a cleaning rota or something similar. ...is that you are after in terms of your favourite comedy show. And yes, I do believe that it runs 24 hours a day and I DO know that i is on 7 days a week. However, during the week it does tend to have a double rota going with the morning session being repeated during theh afternoon. Therefore, you can catch the same programme on at 3pm as was on at 10am. However with that said though, this is good if you can only watch one viewing if it - otherwise, you will only end up boring people when you come with the lines before they happen on the second showing! But in all seriousness though, in my mind this is a good place to come to should you be in need of a laugh because no doubt you will get it!...

In or Out?

Advantages: staying in is the new going out!
Disadvantages: going out is fine for some but not for me anymore

...sort of thing I was getting a little bored to say the least. By now I had a part time job (alongside my regular job) in a pub and the golden rules were work either Christmas eve or New Years Eve. Now I love Christmas eve at home so I instantly put my name down on the rota for New Years Eve... It was fantastic..all the fun behind the bar with my friends, getting tons of drinks bought, not struggling to be served but allowed a drink (within reason!). This went on for the next few years. It was a great excuse not to go out on that particular night without upsetting anyone. "Out New Years Eve? Oh I'd love to but I have to work" I'd say, thinking "Not a chance!". ...always have BO. ROTA MAYHEM How is it that no matter what you do when you want to do something your work schedule always interferes no matter what. Now I know this may seem odd but at the place where I work we have a six week work rota. So you know exactly when you are on and off. However whenever a friend comes up to visit or something I want to do comes up the rota is CHANGED!!!! Why? For what purpose? The rota being changed is always working perfectly I have so far found no valid reason in what the management has said to explain the changes. We did also got given a section to look after and we would have write a list of stock we needed and then we would go in pairs to fill up a cage with stock and then bring down to the shop floor, ready to put out. Customer service, was also very big in this store. Customers ask for specific items and they also ask for suggestons for what they should buy people. You have to try and help them to the best of your ability. You will also have to go on the till, to serve the customers. Normally they will have a person for each till and 1 or 2 staff members packing the goods into a bag as well. Made life so much easier

...The place I used to work part time we used Persil Fairy liquid to wash products u, this is not my choice but someone who does the shopping tend to always buy this product. We all have to have a rota at washing the cups in the restaurant, as well as being a waiter and working in the bar. We had to chip in when it comes to doing the washing. I didn’t mind as it was that bad. Some of the pans we’d put in the dishwasher other’s we’d wash ourselves. It’s not nice but we have to do it. I must admit to never trying this product before but I have been impressed it does work really well, and it’s importantly good on your hands. It also smells nice. We have lemon flavour, and it does also come in another fragrance but this is the one I prefer. A bottle lasts for months, and the best thing I like...
