Round and Round it Goes...

Advantages: Some good stunt work and lots of action.
Disadvantages: No plot, poor acting and iffy ADHD direction.

The direction is brash and hackneyed, the writing anaemic and the performances hinge on a wooden central turn from a wrestler. However it has no pretensions and doesn?t pretend it?s big or clever. Advantages: Classic Australian Kid's TV which still amuses me now!
Disadvantages: Might not appeal as much to those who didn't watch it originally.

Advantages: Great vs fights, slick graphics, innovative controls
Disadvantages: Limited AI, Limited Boxing Roster

..., leading to a few dull or repetetive fights. Any veteran of the series will be begging for a worthy human opponent after a few weeks. This AI opponent issue is the main drawback, but also highlights the fact that when playing against a friend, this game is immersive, intense and exciting. This fun level isn't quite matched by the career mode, which doesn't quite do enough since the last edition of Fight Night for anything in it to be considered new. This is a very good game and more than worth the price if you have a friend who you can play against, otherwise, it might be wise to hold out until next year as EA have announced that they are working on Round 4....

The "Really" Long Way Round.

Advantages: Fabulous journey, really enjoyable.
Disadvantages: Ewan and Charley moan a bit!

Ewan McGregor, (Star Wars Episodes 1, 2 & 3; Trainspotting), and Charley Boorman, (Excalibur; Country of my Skull), travel from London to New York and back again on motorcycles via unbelievable places such as Slovakia, Russia and Kazakhstan.
