The game focuses on your character and his gang, trying to take back the city from your rivals. You can create your own character,however,it can only be a male. Gameplay: The controls take some getting used to, but once you've played it for a while, they're guite easy. Unlike some games whic are set in an entire city, there are no loading times when you go from one side of it to the other. The controls when driving a car are slightly more complicated than necessary, but again, get used to them and you'll be fine. ...Saints Row 2 > Grand Theft Auto 4 Saints Row 2 is a shameless GTA clone sand box game though it does many things better than GTA4. The game allows an impressive level of character customization and then sets you loose into the sandbox world allowing you to run riot with a selection of colorful side quests. These side quests are fun at first but soon get repetitive as a 'respect meter', which must be filled between each portion of the main story, relies on these side mini-games. The mini-games run out of charm long before you complete the main story arc. Advantages: murderous and hilarious

...Saints row 2 is in my opinion the unofficial GTA 4. i'm not sure how many out there remember this game from their estranged childhood but i certainly do. The crazy birds eye view of a brightly coloured dot runnign around and pulling other brightly coloured dots out of boxes and then driving the boxes around stupidly fast, is nothing short of pure manical entertainment. Grand theft auto has been a game that anyone can enjoy because you don't ahve to do anythign if you don't want, even in the newer 3D renditions of the franchise the games always kept the sence of surealism with their wacky colours and humerous dialogue. When i got my hands on GTA 4 i was depressed. Depressed about the fact that wild and insane had been replaced with dullness and fat annoying family members. You just pick up your remote control and tune in to the movie of your choice 10 minutes before it is due to start. You will then be asked to enter your pin number and the movie is yours to watch for only £2, which is added on to your monthly bill. The service operates on channel's 50, 51, 52, 53 and 54, with channel 50, being the service guide showing movie trailers and the dates, times and channels the movies will be appearing on. Each month guarentees all the best movies, including at least one kids movie like 'Pokemon The First Movie' and 'The Tiger Movie', which are some of the latest younger generation films to have appeared on Front Row recently. Saint's Row 2 - great fun

Advantages: so many activities, decent graphics, VAST online multiplayer options
Disadvantages: the £35-£40 price of all xbox 360 games.

...I pre-ordered this game and was, and still am very happy about what it involves. For anybody that has played GTA IV you MAY have been a little disappointed by a few things, something tells me that with GTA the concerned parents, lawyers and the works got to the game and they made it more realistic, police everywhere and so on but this is a saint's row 2 review, the game that's been mainly left alone by such people (for reason's i don't understand), maybe because it's less well known.
