With a keen interest in gardening and landscaping there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting down to watch Ground Force. Imagine if you can take that enjoyment a step further and extend it to times other than when Ground Force is on television. Of course you could go out and buy a few series on DVD????. Or you can buy the soundtrack on CD. I bought the Ground Force soundtrack around five years ago and it has remained one of my favourite CD?s to listen to, particularly when I am feeling a bit stressed or tired. It is very easy listening and relaxing and at the same time as creating such an air or serenity...

Want to be a bombhead?

Advantages: Pay, education, friends, job variety, travel, esprit de corps

...The Royal Air Force was formed on April 1st 1918, an amalgamation of both the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS). During its short history, the RAF has been involved in every war the country has ever fought in, and has played a decisive part, most notably in the Battle of Britain (1940) and the Allied bombing offensive on Germany (1941-1945). Todays RAF is very different to the war time RAF. Since the demise of the Communist bloc, the UK armed forces have been faced with severe budgetary pressures, the RAFs current strength stands at just over 50,000 with further reduction in manpower planned. Disadvantages: Quite a lot of hi-jacking films about. Not most original story.

He is travelling home with his wife, daughter and a planeload of top government officials on Air Force One - one of the most guarded planes. A few minutes into the journey the plane gets hi-jacked by terrorists led by Korshunov (Gary Oldman). Thinking the President has escaped, he then threatens to start killing passengers every half hour unless his country's imprisoned dictator is freed. Marshall then realises it is his responsibility to protect his family and the other passengers. The Vice President (Glenn Close) does her best to negotiate with the terrorists but they keep their word and stert killing passengers. ...First of all, the plot is more than a bit hokey. A President staying aboard a hijacked Air Force One and playing patriot isn't likely to happen in real life. But this is an action movie, and real life doesn't really count, does it? That said, Ford is excellent (a real surprise, huh?), the terrorist is a scare, and made more beleivable by the fact that he makes good on stuff he says. This makes the sense of danger in the film all that much more intense. While much of the supporting acting is cardboard, it's the lead roles that really shine....

...Another excellent film starring Harrison Ford as the President of the United States. Air force one basically gets taken over by terrorists wanting their comrade to be released from prison This acting in the film is excellent because the terrorists make threats like they will kill hostages every 30minutes and thats exactly what happens. Most american "threat" movies spend hours with threats and no action but this film does actually give the impression of what terrorists are really like. gary oldman plays the head terrorist part very well. Harrison ford basically stows away and sabotages the plane from within picking off terrorists now and then. Plenty of shootings and airline action, although the crashing of the plane is the end must have been done a 1980s computer as the graphics are very poor, tey should havce crashed a real...
