...My (new)husband and I travelled to this resort in order to get married, and I couldn't be happier that we did! After a tedious 10 hr flight with Virgin, we were greeted at the airport and directed to the Sandals private lounge to await our transfer to the hotel. The lounge was very nicely furnished with an array of free, self-service drinks - alcoholic and soft, and very polite, friendly, smiling staff. After short wait we were taken to our air conditioned minibus by the Redcaps (airport porters who take care of all your luggage). A brief 15 minute journey later we arrived at The Royal, and were taken aback at how luxurious the place was right from the main entrance. As we exited the minibus, we attempted to retrieve our bags but were told that "You are on vacation now, you don't carry bags", and again our luggage was whisked...

All You Need is Love......and Royal Treatment

Advantages: All Inclusive, laid back atmosphere, food and drinks
Disadvantages: 10 hour flight

...We were barely off the plane from our Sandals holiday in Cuba when we were pawing through the newest Sandals brochure ready to book our next Sandals holiday. That is how much we loved the holiday- you can read my review on Sandals Royal Hicacos. But, WHERE were we going to go?! There were so many choices. Sandals Resorts are located in Cuba, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua and Bahamas. So, we had to decide on which island to visit. We were just back from Cuba. So, that was off the list. After much debate, we decided to go to Jamaica. But that wasn't the end of the decision making as there are 7 Sandals Resorts in Jamaica!!! "FREEDOM" of The Seas, FREEDOM of your mind.

Advantages: Killer service, great food & drinks, the best room service ever, great entertainment.
Disadvantages: Not a single one.

...I have been on two of the ships through Royal Caribbean, Jewel of the seas around the Baltics and Empress of the seas around the Caribbean. These are the best holidays i have ever been on. The 1st ship Jewel was my first cruise. I did not know what to expect. When we got there we were about 5 miles away when my mum said that the ship was infront of us. All i could see was what looked like a block of flats, but NO it was the ship. When we boarded the ship it was like walking into a great big room, the ceiling went straight up for about 6 floors and all you could hear was the live music playing. Advantages: A HOLIDAY ON A SHIP/wheelchair accessable cabins/24 hr food/entertainment for kids and adults alike

...delighted by my holiday on the Voyager of the Seas - nothing was too much trouble for the staff on board, there was always something new to see and do and the entertainments were top notch. Although she carries upwards of 3,100 passengers, I seldom felt crowded. The artwork is stunning. She was kept in impecible shape by her devoted crew. I was also terrified that I would be seasick. I was completely wrong; I have never had such a great, fun-filled holiday and seasickness......what?s that?
