This detailed map covers most of the town centre of Leamington, here fully named as Royal Leamington Spa, with coverage stretching from Russell Terrace and Spencer Street northward to Lillington Avenue, and from Oswald Road and Warwick New Road eastward to Campion Hills and Newbold Farm. The many features include Pump Room Gardens, Manor House Hotel, All Saints church, Jephson Gardens, River Leam, Regent Hotel, Newbold Comyn, Newbold Beeches, Royal Pump Room, Municipal Building, tramway, Avenue station (most of railway is on South map), Adelaide Bridge, Milverton, Christ Church, Holy Trinity church, Leamington College, Leamington Brewery, Beech Lawn Prep School, Leamington & Lillington Brick Works, and many well laid out streets, with individual houses neatly shown. Most of the city centre is covered, with coverage stretching from Ouse Bridge and Foss Bridge northward to Haxby Road and Fountayne Street; and from Monkgate westward to Clifton and to Garnet Terrace. Features include the great Cathedral, Lendal Bridge, Museum Street, Micklegate, Parliament Street, Theatre Royal, St Cuthbert's church, Deanery, City Wall, Workhouse (right margin), Diocesan Training College, Bootham Park Asylum, St Peter's School, Clifton. York's narrow streets are shown in detail, with each house clearly delineated. Railway information includes most of the station, Old Station, Royal Station Hotel, engine shed (today's museum), and the many NER goods lines west of the station, with track layout shown (except under station roof). On the reverse are street directory entries for Bootham, Clifton Green, Hanover Street, Hungate, Leeman Road, Lowther Street, Minster Yard, Parliament Street, Pavement.

.... Our one problem when we first arrived is that there is a hotel with a similar name. We tried to get in (it was locked) and even buzzed for the porter- too late we noticed the sign telling us that this was not the Royal Terrace Hotel.
We found our hotel a bit further down the street, and after parking the car, went in. I have to mention that a down side to this hotel is that it doesn?t have a car...
Advantages: large rooms, pleasant decor downstairs, most staff lovely, value for money, food Disadvantages: some rude staff, rooms needing refurbished
...coach trips to Blackpool. At the time of booking, we had no hotel choice as there was only one suitable room available within all of their hotels. My parents stayed at this hotel 2 weeks prior to our visit and thankfully all was well with it. We stayed at this hotel Monday - Friday (27th of Feb - 2nd March). This time of year is considered to be 'out of season'.

...The Hotel Royal Kenz in the Resort of Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia was recently my Home for 7 nights between the 2nd and 9th July 2006. The Holiday itself was a last minute booking but the Girl at the Travel Agent's said that She had stayed at this Hotel and that it was superb.
The price for the total package, including Flights and transfers was incredibly cheap at just under £200 Half Board...
