Disadvantages: Maybe more suited to a less destructive dog...

... Wilko Dog Toy Rubber Ring... Cost me 99p so as cheap as - I bought 2. They're avalible in diffrent colours I got Red for Dizz and Blue for Buzz-Boy-Buster. Not that Dizz would ordinarily want one but what Buster has she must have and I like to keep the peace. Buzz likes to chew....chew and destroy so I figured at least this rubber toy may last him a while before he killed it. It's about 15cm in diameter and about 2.5cm thick with a nice weight to it for the size, is good to throw outdoors and bounces about nicely on hard surfaces. Its not like Buster is a monster size dog - just a medium mutt and the size of the toy seems right for him. Well in under 10 minutes it was no longer a ring, or rather it was a ring with a gap in it... and then he was looking at the red one.. but the red one belongs to Dizz who wasn't in...

Joys of rubber stamping

Advantages: Relaxing, you can make some money and get lots of compliments
Disadvantages: You get hooked, can be expensive to get started.

...One game I have always loved is Guitar Hero...I bought the original the day it came out. But I'm a drummer, have been for years so I always thought how cool it would be to have a drum game. ...Rock Band is a step in the right direction for any musical gamer. Obviously a move onwards from the Guitar Hero franchise with the inclusion of a drum kit and a microphone. The guitar is practically the same as any of the guitar hero guitars, but with a few tweaks such as the solo buttons which are very difficult to use and aren't really needed. Therefore the guitar isn't really a must have if you already have a guitar hero guitar. However if you don't then get the whole band set as the variety offered by having so many instruments is endless and playing with friends or online is one of the best things about the game. The solo careers are good too with a good tracklist which ranges dramatically and also new downloadable tracks every week in case you get bored of the same tunes over and over again. Rock Band Rocks My Socks!

Advantages: Everything!
Disadvantages: You may need to make a few modifications to your kit, worth it though.

...I first played this game at my uncle's house, and within about 5 seconds I was addicted. At this point I had already played the games predecessor 'Guitar Hero', and so had an understanding of this sort of game, particularly the guitar. Rock Band, however, is far better. Like Guitar Hero, Rock Band is split into four difficulties. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. You can do a solo tour and play all the songs in sequence at different difficulties (easy has a few less songs than the other difficulties, which makes sense, since some rhythms can only go so easy). On multiplayer the format changes, and you play in different cities and venues, gaining 'stars' to move on with the plot of the game. You can have up to 5 stars, depending on how well you play the song. I don't think you can get less than 3 or you won't complete the track...

Band of brothers

Advantages: Superbly filmed and very believeable
Disadvantages: tough to watch in parts, can be a little depressing

...Band of Brothers remains one of my favourite TV shows of all time. Its well written, well shot and most importantly its believable. Band of Brothers follows the story of Easy company, an increadible group of paratroopers. The story spans right through from their training, through D-Day, the battle of the bulge and finally the capture of Hitlers Eagles nest. Based on the book by Stephen Ambrose (a fantastic and interesting book by the way, i reccomend it.... but thats for another review) this is a superbly made series which stays very true to the book and the records of the people who lived through it.
